Satsujin is suddenly to the left of her. She did not anticipate him to be so fast. It seems he had grown considerably stronger since their last fight. When he appears to her left she pivots to her left bringing up her sword infront of her as she turns to face him.
Whatever blow he had tried to do she hoped would be deflected. However this left her sides wide open. It was a risk she had to take to defend her vital points. She had been revived but in a demons body and demons were not invulnerable. She had to be careful not to kill her host.

The nihilsts don't seem very active, talkative, or anything. This really sucks. I leave the nihilists and decide to go off on my own.
I find myself in a shopping mall....or what was one before Red Infinity took power.
The shops are all there, but now they are empty and there are long lines to get what little there is.
So stupid. And this is supposed to be better than capitalism?
It shows that nothing really works and that we shouldn't even both trying.

I think of that virus. That was the last conversation I had with someone for a while. I hear Fate is back. I kinda want to avoid both Fate and Chaos. I need a vacation and to get away from all of this. I head to wrok to see if anything needs to be done.

Ceph uncrossed his arms after waiting for about an hour and quietly knocked at Lady Violet's door.

Lucky hasnt assasinated anyone in a long time. Her thoughts go back to that young man...the one who seemed so down and depressed. The one who she had offered to buy lunch for and he bolted before he had a chance to eat. She felt bad about this. She knew it was because of her that he had left. She decided to buy something for him and take it to him.
Red Infinity has an overly large database where they keep tabs on all people who are citizens of their cities. She sees he moves around a lot and finally comes across a most recent address. She knew the area and shook her head. She wondered if this was the right thing to do.
She goes back to that same deli and orders what he had that day they went out. She looks at the printout with the address on it and walks through up the stairwell to his apartment. She notices that the stairwell is imaculately clean. Either one of the tenants was a neat freak or the super was. But judging the rest of the building it had to be a tenant. She shifts from one foot to the next and debates whether to leave the food or knock.
While she does so her feet get tangled and she falls hard against the door. Her head hitting it three times making a loud knocking sound. She sits on her ass and rubs her head. The bag of food is upright and untouched from the fall. How lucky for her. However it seems her decision was made for her. She knew Devin would have heard that.
