"All of this was a stupid idea. I can't believe I bought into what Satsujin promised." Soren mutters to himself as he walks down a street in Helsinki. He has been in a foul mood for a couple of days now. He feels like he betrayed himself and the things he believes in.
"Now what do I do?"
He starts walking towards the rebel base knowing that it is a start.

Samuel sat in his favorite bar. It was Irish themed, and Flogging Molly played in the background. That was the one reason it was his favorite bar, he loved the band and green was one of his favorite colors. Here, in this bar, he was surrounded by it. He sat with a bottle of whiskey and a shot glass in front of him. He had no idea how long he'd een here this time, but it was longer than normal. The bartender had commented on his lengthly stay, and he had smiled to himself, and then told his friend the bartender all about the events leading up to him meeting Winter, and then after he'd been with Winter. He couldn't have told anyone what was said in that conversation afterwards. Everything was so much simpiler when one was completly inconpasitated and didn't need to care about life's troubles.

((I'm asuming you're calling me.))
My cell phone rings and I blush deeply.
"Forgive me, Madmoiselle Raz," I say as I pick up the phone.
((In French))
"Allo? Ah, Xavier, good day. That is most excellent news, I am meeting with the members of Hagana and they appear to be willing to aid us as well."

((Sorry I haven't been on in a while. Homework and religious stuff.))
Dr. Murdock sends a telepathic message to Draconius Freud.
Dear doctor, while opposition to the state is a mental illness, remember we will probably kill your patient. I know that you don't often get to observe humans, so you have a few weeks. I am sorry, but he despite his illness, he is a dangerous drain on the proletariat, and must be destroyed, for the good of the whole. I promise that I will try to procure specimens that you can keep for longer.
She turns to Kolov.
"My entire ministry is at your disposal, but I would prefer that you get someone more reliable to head the project, someone other than Erika Faust. A loyal communist would be most preferable. Someone that would look good in front of the cameras. Of course sir, you are my superior, and you can order me to hand over the information."
Dr. Murdock gets an irritated expression.
"I am terribly sorry about the noise, sir. This place really does need better soundproofing. I only crushed his teeth. The way he's screaming, you'd think I was continuously cutting bits of his body off or something. I suppose I shall have to send someone in to fix his teeth. I know it isn't really my place, but I am testing a less physical interrogation tecnique which I believe will provide more reliable information."

((Sorry Swan, I didn't realize you were posting to me until I saw Tovio's post.))
Grove hears what Swan said, but is confused by it. His mind shifts gears slightly.
"Kampa? What is that and why would we need to find it?"
Grove's mind goes back on track as he speaks to Tovio before he can answer his first question.
"Right, before that, what was the final result of speaking to that follower of the so called 'God of the forrest'?"

Raz is impassive. She has never been around someone who blushes so easily. Still, she has spent most of her life in a Jewish ghetto, and then in the military. There is no room for embarassment. She is a little annoyed that he has refered to her by her first name when he hardly knows her, but perhaps that is just some sort of French thing that she doesn't know about.
She waits for him to finish talking on the phone before speaking.
"Hagana is interested in forming an official alliance with as my other nationalist groups as possible. We would like to create a united nationalist movement of some sort."
Raz pauses.
"Ah yes, and... happy Christmas."

"We also support a unified nationalist movement," I reply. "And forgive me, I... I cannot pronounce your last name. It is difficult for me. And a 'appy... er... oh dear, I am not sure 'ow one pronounces it... I believe it is 'aunukah. No, that doesn't sound right..." I trail off, a bit flustered.

I suspected as much. However, I will not tell him this, I intend to give him as much piece of mind as I can. If you could, have his execution carried out without his knowledge. The poor boy is terribly disturbed, he deserves at least that much.

"Thank you," Raz say, smiling slightly. She doesn't correct Montaille's pronunciation, or inform him that the holiday has been over for three days, because she thinks it would be rude, and it's the thought that counts.
Even if hanukkah is one of the least important holidays, she is a little disappointed that she didn't have the opportunity to go home and visit her family this year. With the destruction of the base, no one really got to celebrate very much this year. Raz promises herself that she will go home for Pesach (passover), to make up for lost time.
"My last name is two syllables, 'Zeh-Ev.' However, I understand if you have trouble pronouncing it. Refering to me by my first name is acceptable.

Of course. Don't worry, I am not a sadist. I promise that his death will be as quick, quiet, and painless as possible. You may carry it out yourself if you wish.

"The word doesn't actually begin with a 'h'. The sound beginning Hannukah is actually more like the German 'ch' sound, but softer. When it is transliterated from Hebrew to a romance language, the h is used, but it is still supposed to be pronouced with a 'ch'. The romance language alphabets don't have a letter that makes the sound that the letter 'chet' makes in Hebrew," Raz explains.
"I grew up in the Jewish ghetto in Capital City, so I began speaking Hebrew at a very early age. Many of my peers in Hagana that did not have the benefit of a Jewish upbringing have trouble pronouncing the sound as well.
