"I am sorry to inform you that I am not a reformist. I will not settle for anything less than power in the hands of the working people. If you are looking for reformists, you may try the Green Party, Social Democrats, the Eternal Light, and Feminists. I know the leaders of each."

"You forget that Stalinism is so borderline Communism, it's not technically Socialism. Personally, I take my beliefs and mix them together. Trotsky, Newton, Dean, Nader, Bassarov... all the great revolutionaries."

"I change mine in accordance to the political environment that I live in. I think that life should dictate my beliefs rather than the writings or actions of long dead men. But, I am inspired by Marx, Engels, Jaures, Debs, and Kautksy...a distant relative of mine."

"I was actually going to ask you about that. I was wondering about your last name. Marx is very inspirational, but he's no Howard Dean. If and when I get out of here, I'm gonna send you a book. It was written by Ralph Nader. I have an autographed edition, I think you should read it. You'd like it..." Freak Boy said.

"I'm not looking for reformists. I'm trying to stop needless bloodshed. I'm visiting you to attempt to talk you out of needless killing."

"I would appreciate that. I have nothing to send you, since I have nothing here, but if ever you need a place to stay you may visit my home in Austria. It is vacant at the moment."

"I might discuss such a thing, but I suspect it is a ploy to pacify my group into submission. I don't want to take lives senselessly, but I will not leave the world to suffer under tyranny."

"Well, I am always on the move. I guess knowing I'll have a place to stay in Austria is cool. Thanks man, I really appreciate it. So, how long you in here for?"

"Another ten years, which hardly seems fair! There are rebels who are very violent and the live in relative freedom. I am just an intellectual and a reformer. But, at least they will not execute me. I am sure there are other rebel leaders who would be killed upon capture."

"Holy nuts, I'm only here for seven." Freak Boy says, seeming surprised. "I'm sure I did way more nuts than you did and I still got less than half your sentance... d**n, you got ripped off."

"I don't believe in tyrrany, and I've had a long time to consider such things. Even monarchaic rule is acceptable if the monarch grants the people freedom, but that is very seldom the case. Anyways as I said I am here to stop needless bloodshed, and if it helps the rest of REd Infinity does not know about this little venture on the part of the Ministry of Peace." I state.

"Hmm, indeed. I suppose they have tortured you and beaten you more than I have ever been. You were also threatened with execution, I understand, so I suppose I can not complain."

"Shoot, that ain't the half of it. I went to the Ministry of Torture and got my teeth blown up and they were messing with my head and... it was crazy. Then, when they were going to execute me, Lady Violet says the Rebels are going to try and rescue me so I should just be sent here to prevent me from being able to bug Red Infinity any more."

"I will consider what you have said. In the past, Red Infinity did try to broker peace with us. I was nearly convinced into a short period of detente with Red Infinity, but the rebels were against it. It is hard to negotiate with someone who has hurt so many people. And, although I see how reform can in the short term help people, in the long term, revolution is the only way to truly liberate this world. I will have to think things over and discuss this with Mischa. I suggest that you visit the other groups. They may be more inclined to negotiate. I fear I can not." Bassarov thinks of what Trotsky told him in the letter. The letter told him clearly that he was not to make deals with capitalists or Stalinists. He will not waver.

"So they sent you here to get you out of their hair so to speak. Well, that is lucky for you in some ways since if you can stand the work, I would much prefer being here than at the Ministry of Terror."
