((Feel free to change to title when you get on, Bassarov. I couldn't think of a good one.))

(I've got one. Seize the Time)
The screenplays are very well written and seem to incorporate techniques from Star Wars and Clerks and The Godfather.
The first one is anti-Rebels, depicting Bassarov as a cold blooded killer. The story is this; The Evil Rebel Forces are planning to destroy the earth to prevent Red Infinity from having it. Stalin and Lin-Sat, depicted as good friends and close working partners, have to find out how to stop them. Some great scenes include Bassarov sending them the severed head of a Red Infinity operative in a box, Zero holding a gun to a fellow Rebels head and using him as a hostage. Stalin's respect for life in this scene is so great he refuses to shoot Zero when he had the chance.
Skipping ahead a bit, Red Infinity does manage to stop the Rebels plans, but Bassarov, Zero and Mischa get away and swear to one day return.
"We'll do it one at a time, if that is being alright with you. I find it is easier to work step by step." Stalin says as Murdock reads his screenplay.

"I'm afraid we can't use this," Dr. Murdock says, reading it over.
"Firstly, Lady Violet doesn't appear in it at all, and you appear in it heavily. Are you trying to imply something... Mr. Stalin?" Dr. Murdock can see Stalin's ambitions easily through this transparent script.
"Also, the masses don't know who Zero Americanski, and Mikhael Nadyezhda are. We already have about seventeen films on this subject, and frankly, the destroying the Earth thing is very cliche."
"Mr. Stalin, you may not be aware of this, but Lady Violet is the face of Red Infinity. She is the phsyical symbol for everything we stand for. You are a hero, and a symbol of communism, but you are not the symbol. I'm afraid that this script does not fit our current needs."

"That is why I was coming to you for help. So you could help me rewrite it to fit Red Infinity's current needs." Stalin said, ignoring the fact she could see through his ambition.

"Mr. Stalin, there is a certain point where no matter how much you edit, the script cannot be saved," Dr. Murdock states. She is still angry over Iris's reaction, but she does not show it. Even if she hadn't been angry, the script is intensely flawed, and obviously a vehicle for Stalin to further himself.
"That isn't to say that a movie written by Stalin wouldn't be wonderful. I have a full staff of ghost writers."

Stalin was going to argue his point to try and save the script. He never backs down and he didn't think he would start now.
"American movie Star Wars was horrible in first draft. Something about two twins and Kaiber Crystal. Yet in altered version it works.
"This script can be saved. Scratch the destruction of earth, eliminate Zero and Mischa from the script. Replace the threat with Bassarov attempting to assassinate our beloved Lady Violet.
"This gives Violet a much more key role. We do major rewriting of all scenes in which Red Infinity appears and I think we can salvage it." Stalin said stubbornly. "We put Violet in every scene, add a scene in which Lin-Sat tries to convince Violet to go into hiding but Violet refuses to abandon her people in such a time of crisis."

Raine took a step back when the others started talking. She felt very shy.She leaned against the wall and listened to their conversation. She was happy to meet Bassarov but she was also a bit afraid of him too.

Hey you cats, post on the other thread until it fills up. I'm locking this one until then.
And Zinn, thanks for making a new thread, but be sure to make it "sticky" when you do.

Huey laughs too. However, it's soon cut short as he remembers one of the reasons he came here.
"Look, you guys are being targeted by the worst kind of political slander possible... Stalin's writing another series of propaganda films." Huey said with a shudder.

"Oooh, are they going to bring Johnny Depp back from the dead so he can play me?" Bassarov says with more enthusiasm than he should have.
"Hmm, well this isn't good. This could undo much of my political work and cause people to distrust me. Do you know the plot of it?"

Huey sighs. "I'm sad to say, yes... I do.
"The rebels are planning to assassinate Stalin. It's kind of a symbolic thing, since Stalin is a hero and a symbol of Communism. Anyway, the plot is Lin-Sat and Violet doing everything in their power to prevent the assassination of Stalin by the heartless Rebel forces.
"There's a scene where you send the severed head of a Red Infinity spy to Lin-Sat, Violet and Stalin in a box... although, Dr. Murdock is thinking of removing that scene because it's a bit dramatic."

"Yes, that is a little dramatic. Well, these propaganda films come out every couple of years. Most people don't buy them...and it is always entertaining to see how I am portrayed. I will do what I can to halt production of this..."

"Also, they've pulled more propaganda for Lady Violet to keep her saintly image in effect. They've got almost every school and childrens choir singing a song about 'Saint Violet'. I mean, Red Infinity has done a lot of things, but using small children to propogate the image of an overly ambitious woman... that's just lower than low."

"Lady Violet...hmm...many of the rebels like her as well. I don't know what to think. I haven't sat down with her and had a chat. I know that Trotsky is living with her. Mischa said that he thinks he is her lover. That...does not settle well with me."

"Me neither. And he has a right to think so. Violet may be nice on the outside but... you know how you see a fence? On one side of it it's all nicely painted but as soon as you walk on the other side, the wood is rotting and filled with termites and parasites? That's Lady Violet... the song the little choir sings it's... it's a new low. Turn on the radio. They only air it about every two minutes..." Huey says, rolling his eyes.
