"Yes, we can talk to them in the morning. They are all pretty quiet right now anyway. I supposed we shocked them with our fantastic debate on the tomato."

Freak Boy stifled laughter before pulling out another caffeine drink to help himself stay awake.
"Night, Bassarov."

Bassarov and Mischa go to their room, and Bassarov sits on the bed. "I feel pretty tense." Bassarov says, repeating himself.

"Okay, goodnight Freakboy, don't stay up too late." I say in an almost motherly tone. I head into the bedroom, and slide under the sheets beside Bassarov, exhausted although I didn't really do much today.
"Yeah me too. Maybe we could burn some off." I say suggestively.

"Well, I would love to, but with the anarchists in the next room I feel a little odd about it. You know how uptight those anarchists are!" Bassarov says jokingly. He gets under the covers, and goes to sleep. He hates to be rude when guests are around.

Ruth silently sips on a cup of herbal tea and listens as the two talk about other Christians. She suddenly feels as if she is not alone. Though not many, the fact that there are even a few others like herself out there fills her with an immediate sense of hope.

"Hey, don't I know you?" Shade steps out of a dark alley, wiping something dark red off his lips, addressing Kaieka. "I never forget a face..." He snaps his fingers, "Your Bassarov's honey, ain't you?"

"I don't believe I know you, though there have been a lot of "me's" running about here lately."
His body exudes the smell of a fresh kill, which makes me realize that I have been running on empty for too long. Bassarov... I can still remember the thick, rich taste of his blood: so sweet, so delightful.
""Bassarov's honey," as you put it, was an older versian of me. I have only met him once, though it was indeed a divine experience. I wouldn't mind... running into him again.
It seems that you have the upper hand here. You are one of my own kind and seem to know me... or at least something about me. I don't even know your name."

Shade listens, picking his teeth with the clawed end of his pinky finger. "Name's Shade. And I'm not exactly your kind." Shade licks his teeth, clearing away any little bits of stuff he picked out and walk slowly in a circle around Kaieka. "Your one of the main stream vamps." Finishes circling her, then stands facing her and tilts his head. "I hear your kind can walk in the sunlight like mortals. But you don't have the same dark power as Gi-ans, like me.
Anyway, we meet a few months ago. Least ways I met the other you, or whatever. You were a solid iron pregnant dog if I recall right. I couldn't figure out why you were with Bass besides maybe food."

"Some might still consider me a pregnant dog, iron or otherwise.
Yes, I am just your run of the mill vampiress, no bells and whistles, and though daylight is by far not my favorite time, I seem rather impervious to it's draining effects. I have heard of Gi, though in my long years have never visited there. I heard you fellas like to keep to yourselves. What brings you out here in the dark of night? Just catching a little snack?"
His skin shines bright white against the darkness of the sky, reflecting the moon's soft glow. His eyes seem to glow themselves, and I notice three pupils where only one should be. What an interesting character.
I notice also his leather garments. So many of the people I know wear black leather like this... it must be in season.#nosmileys

"A number of things. I grow tired of Gi's ways and the community feeling. I've grown very tired of sharing, of communisium. As a warrior of Gi I was, of course, a trained thief and assassin. I decided to leave, and make use of my skills against the weak, pathetic human things of this world. Their easily fooled and even more easily removed from one's path.
And I slept with the daughter of one of the Elders. I left town about two steps ahead of the town guard."

"Sounds like you know how to live life: Prey on the weak, live for yourself, satisfy each desire that arises.
And your plan now? Just to keep on wandering and see what fate throws on your plate, or is there a grander scheme?"
I lean against the wall of one of the closest building. It is interesting that someone from Gi would be so open with an outsider. I heard that they tended to keep things to themselves, that they weren't very friendly.

Shade shrugs. "No grand plans, really. I just go from pay check to pay check. It's all about the fun. In fact, I was just planning my latest treasure hunt. Only need to find someone to lend me a hand. Master treasure hunter of not I can't be in two places at once.
But tell me of yourself. You're not the Kaieka I met, but you act like her. I suppose magic is involved in this." Shade almost spits when he mentions magic. I's apparent he doesn't care for it.

"Some sort of magic, I suppose. There is a time-sorceror named Kaschei who brought me back from the past after my former/future self died. It is all very interesting."
((Time to leave work. I should be home in about fifteen minutes.))

Garret drinks his coffee slowly to enjoy it. He happens to look up and see that Ruth looks a little down. "Awe...is something the matter?"
