Painful Acceptance

[Kaschei]

Kaschei is in another one of his foul moods. He paces around his office waiting for Tsubaki to return with the kampa. He is angry that Toivo stole the spells from him, and will have his revenge on the Green Party. For now, he can only wait until Tsubaki returns. As long as they have the kampa, all is not lost.

[Despair]

Despair enters the room, and sees that Iris is sound asleep. He is not happy that Freakboy and her were kissing, but he did not interupt because he wanted Iris to have some human experiences before she is taken away. Soon Red Infinity will come for Iris and there is nothing that can be done to protect her. But she is a young and innocent girl, at least she got a taste of life before she serves Red Infinity.
Despair speaks to Freakboy in a cool tone.
"Do not get too attached to her. Soon she will be taken to the Ministry of Information where she will forever remain. I am glad she has gotten a taste of a normal life, but, you should know it is a fleeting thing. By my estimation, Red Infinity will come for her soon. They may even come today."

[Kith]

Lin-Sat has been taking his dear sweet time deciding whether or not to rehire me. I will not rush him since I am in no position for impatience.

I fall at the man's feet and start kissing his boots.

"Is it really you, the great Joseph Stalin? This must be a good omen for me. Even if I am killed here, at least I can die satisfied that I met the great Stalin. Today mylife has a little more meaning..."

[Lady Violet]

I contact Dr. Murdock and send her a file that says the Little Sister machine is ready and has been moved to the 5th floor of the Ministry Information's new location in Capital City. I inform her in the letter that I hope she doesn't mind the move, but it will help Red Infinity keep a better eye on critical zones of rebelion.

I also tell her that someone should pick up Iris from Erika. I am uncertain where she is, but it is time for her to join Little Sister as the operator. Her personal attendant will be a man named Joukahainen who was created just for that task (this character has not yet been created but should appear soon).


(Dr. Murdock, I hope you don't mind but your Ministry has been relocated to Capital City. This is for the plot purpose of watching the FRA. If you have a problem with this move to a new building and city PM me. Also, we will get the Little Sister project started soon.)

Rodthingy and I go to the cafe and I take a seat next to him. Although I can not eat or drink, it is nice to be out and at least pretend to enjoy this existance.

"I met a Christian woman named Ruth last week. If you get the time you should meet with her. She felt alone because there are so few religious rebels these days."

I wake up in a cell at the Ministry of Terror. My memories are foggy, but as I regain my bearing the last thing I recall is being hit in the back by Zero.

It is too painful to stay awake, so I lean against the cracked gray wall and close my eyes. I manage to fall asleep despite the injurries I suffered from the torture.

I turn to Soren and frown.

"We are not apathetic. There is only one way to defeat Satsujin and we were not about to squander our lives in a battle that could not be won. We have come with the spell book which will activate the kampa," I announce to the young nihilist.

Some people would do well not to be so rude.

[Usegi Kayaku]

I learn that the Eternal Light is now based in Lapland, so I travel there to see if I can find any fellow members. As I journey to the northern lands, I wonder about my son, Iltanesh. I hope that he is well.

[Lady Violet]

After sending the letter to Dr. Murdock I return to my work. I feel that this week I have been exceptionally organized, and although I have not had any time to spend at home or with Hikari, I have done an impressive amount of work.

[Peter "The Owl"]

Peter stops when Hedeon speaks to him. The Hunter slowly starts to raise his hands, then snaps around, his guns flying into his hands. Without pause, he pulls back the triggers, opening fire on automatic in the hallway. .60 calibur, high impact rounds rip towards the faerie.

[Aristarchus]

-"Peter the Owl. I was just coming down here for a snack. I like to eat little girls, and was sooo hoping that your newest girlfriend didn't give me indigestion like the last one did."

-I pick my teeth with a tooth pick and grin at the hunter.

"What was her name again? Charity, Chalice, ah yes, Chastity..."

[Moira]

"I'm glad you two are happy. To tell you the truth, don't know if I want to marry Akira. She has been gone a while now, but sometimes she can be clingy, you know. Like, I am the center of her world. I want a woman who can love me and who has a sense of herself. But, there aren't many lesbian elves around."

I jump up on the counter and dangle my feet off the edge.

"Ah, I shouldn't complain. I just get that way. I am glad to see you Fascia. You're a good friend, ya know?"

[Fascia]

I feel bad that I had forgotten that Moira was in the room. I also feel slightly embarrassed for my show of affection in front of her.

"Well, marriage is a big step. You don't want to get into it if it's not the right person."
