The Spiritual Squelching

[Blacksmith]

I move into the airfield and come in for a landing.

[Lady Blue]

I watch the helicopter flare and land on a distant part of the airfield. We drive over there immediately and dismount our veicheles. "Glad to see you again Blacksmith, so what do you have in-stock?"

[Aung San Suu Kyi]

I chuckle to myself. "Realistic? And what is real? Right now peace is not real yet it is something that I hope and work for. That is the trouble we are facing. Everyone has their own sense of what is real based off of personal experiences. I am sure from my experiences my world view would be far different than that of say...a capitalist or violent revolutionary.."

[Blacksmith]

"It is good to see you as well, Lady Blue. My stocks are quite extensive, so I imagine I can provide for most, if not all of your needs," I say with a faint smile.

[Roland the Black Hearted]

"Lolita," Roland walks up behind the girl, his hands behind his back, "I have a job for you. There's been alot of activity north of Helsinki. School children mostly, late teens, but they seem to be organized. It might be nothing but I'd like to know for sure. Technically this isn't our job... but I think it might be worth looking into.

I want you to look around. I hear the name 'Daniel' from the Ministry of Education. Start with that."

[Blake Derosch]

"By realistic I mean likely. Too many people in power are motivated by greed, it is a historic constant. But you're right, peace is something to hope and strive for whatever the odds against it."

[Lady Blue]

"I'd imagine you would too, but I'd like to see what you have on special We're looking for small shaped charges, preferably around five pounds, with variable fuzing options. We can trade for infantry rifles or submachine guns."

[Lolita]

"Sure, I will see if I can find any naughty people there. Teens are notorius for naughtiness. I'll go check it out"

I turn, spread my wings and fly out the window. Finland is far away, so I teleport to where he told me the young people were. I sit in the bushes and listen through the open window.

[Blacksmith]

I take a crate from the helicopter and place it on the ground before Lady Blue, opening it to reveal the explosives she specified.

"This is what you want? I have about one hundred crates of this on hand, but I can easily procure more if you need it. If this is acceptable, I would like to inspect the wares that you have to offer."

[Roland the Black Hearted]

Roland smiles and picks at the nails on his hand. Of course their perfect. His body regenerated so well, you'd never have known that his hand had been burned away only a few days before. Comforting to know. However, the present of NiHato annoyed him greatly. Perhaps she needed to be dealt with. Roland leans forwards, and hits the intercom button on his desk. "Relentless. I'd like to have a few words with you."

"That too depends on one's view of history. I am not certain why you are working here at the Ministry of Peace, Blake, when you think so lowly of history and human potential. I am a pacifist, to most, peace is more pie in the sky than socialism or anarchy. But we have power over our future. Peace is a choice, and the revolution I stand for, is the revolution of the spirit and sentiments of what "reality" is."
I smile, but it is a harsh smile. It is the smile you give someone who has offended you, but you are too polite to call them on it.
"Good day, I have some more work to do. I will visit the feminists again. The goal is to find some common ground with these rebels and build upon that."
I leave, and close the door tightly behind me. I arrange a flight for the Virgin Islands so I can complete my work there.

[Lady Blue]

I look at the charges, pick one up and inspect the actual explosive. "Very good, beats the hell out of surplus Semtex. Sergeant!" I shout. A pair of guards manhandle two cases over. I open them up, one contains M16 rifles, the other Thompson submachine guns.

[Blacksmith]

I examine the weaponry with an expert eye.

"These are fine weapons, Lady Blue, though I must say I do have some of these in stock already. While I can take them as trade commodity, they are of less value to me."

[Relentless]

I materialize from the shadows and kneel before Roland.

"I am at your service, what is it that you need of me?"

[Lolita]

I sit outside the window and wait patienly. I will be here I while I figure, so I munch on a sandwhich that I packed for my lunch.
"Mmmm, peanut butter and jelly.."
