"Very well. If you wish to attempt a reduction of the outside stressors, you must do this and exactly this. Freak Boy must be isolated from any and all stressors in his life. High on this list is Julia, he CANNOT come in contact with that woman. I want him in a quiet place where he can be comfortable, and nothing strenuous or stressful should be undertaken. Anything and I do mean ANYTHING that can cause stress or aggitation must be removed from his immediate reach, and he should be having at least twelve hours of bedrest a day, at least for the first few weeks."

(Well, because my teachers are running me ragged, homework wise, I can barely stay awake. I think I'm going to bed. Can we continue tomorrow night?)
"Whoah! Twelve hours of sleep? I hardly do that much sleeping in a year!" Freak Boy states, standing up and pacing back and forth.

"Sure, we can try to do that for him. Maybe we can have a Julia watch to make sure she doesn't come by and if she does, someone keeps her from Freakboy." Bassarov says in agreement.

"Very well then," I say. "I am quite serious though. At the moment Freak Boy's mental state is extremely unstable. There are some antipsychotic medications I can prescribe, should he wish to take them, but nonstressful conditions are absolutely crucial to any kind of recovery."

"Sure, that sounds reasonable. Well Freakboy, you better head to bed so you can get your 12 hours of sleep."

"They said that y'e can go when y'er feeling up t'e it." Steve folds his hands behind his head and leans back in the chair. "You should be more careful love. They said you'd been hit with a bleedin' nasty crotch bug. Clamidious or clams-r-us, or something, I forget the name. But they got 'er all done. Said y'e'd never know y'e'd been near dead. You been sleepin' f'er four days though."

I smile.
"Now, to other matters. Who can we trust to keep Julia away from Freak Boy? Of all the stressors in his life, she is the most prominent and the most difficult for him to manage. She MUST be kept away at all costs. Every time she sees him, her mere presence leeches away more of his sanity."

"I will have Zero protect him. He seems to trust Zero and she doesn't seem to mind him. She was on his radio show." Bassarov replies. "She will keep him safe and is much stronger than this Julia...'

"As reassuring as having a capable bodyguard is, however, we must remember that Julia is a telepath. She is probably familiar with his brainwaves, and can probably find him with ease. We need a way to block his mental waves, so that she cannot pick up on them and pinpoint where he is."

"We could relocate him. I'm sure there are plenty of places and rebels that would house him." Bassarov lets out a long yawn, signally that it is time for him to catch some sleep as well. "I'll figure something out. We will relocate him if we have to, or find someway to block her mind powers. Either way, it is getting late and I have a full day ahead of me. If you need a place to stay you can have Mischa's room since he is gone tonight. Goodnight." Bassarov turns and leaves. He will figure something out in the morning.

"Thank you," I say. "I'll just sleep on the couch. I don't want to impose."

((Don't worry about it. It's really hard to tell what is going on unless you have actually been to one. I myself have only been to two.))
"The new base is almost completely rebuilt, and we are setting up shield generators around our section of Capital City, for the inevitable League of the Godless attack, since they now have the city. I went to go help Eternal Light fight off a new Red Infinity android, but another person was already there fighting. Peter the Owl. It's hard to believe isn't it? I thought that fascist bastard was to busy killing people to care about religion. Of course, he gave the standard 'only following orders, couldn't help myself' argument," Raz shakes her head in disgust.
"Oh yeah, and I exorcised a dybbuk from the anarchist Antero Black. I was going to tell them about the shiva, but they rushed off before I had a chance."
"Well, I've talked long enough. What sort of food do you want? My mother made basically everything imaginable. We have tsimmis (sweet stewed carrots and prunes. It tastes way better than it sounds), matzo ball soup (chicken soup with a matzo ball in it. It is like a ball made of this stuff called matzo meal, which is a sort of floury stuff, and egg. Could also be compared to a big round noodle with a different texture), blintzes (like crepes, but closed, and have sweetened ricotta cheese in them. They are usually served with some sort of berry jam on top), bagels (If you don't know this one, you have been living in a cave on Mars where there are no cities, televisions, or Jews.), potato knishes (potato puff pastries, but bigger), brisket (flank shoulder steak in a sauce. It is very hard for me to describe the sauce, since I haven't eaten brisket in years, do to the meatiness of it), herring in wine sauce, cream cheese, lox (smoked salmon), and chopped liver.
The meat foods and the dairy/ fish/ bread foods' containers have different colored lids, so that the dishes don't mix accidentally, in accordance with the kosher laws.
"Sorry there isn't any Israeli food. My mother prefers to make the Yiddish stuff, and I'm a lousy cook."
"What do you want on your plate?"

Zinn gives the other anarchists the address of the house, and then she goes back to Helsinki to get everyone's stuff.
Zinn takes a teleportation booth to a spot about three blocks from Bassarov's house. She never takes the same one twice, to avoid drawing any suspicion.

Andrew stops singing after Tensuo brings the sword down upon Satsujin.
"So... yeah, that's about it. Um...." Andrew taps his cane around a bit, trying to fill the now awkward silence. Andrew's voice, while not having the unearthly quality of a LeShay's voice, was still a remarkably beautful tenor that seemed to fill the room with an altogether magical, earthly sound. It was still far more beautiful than the voice of most humans, and its absence has left an emptiness hanging in the air, due in part to the magic Andrew had infused in it.
He isn't sure whether he should mention that part or not.
