Virgil grunts. Yuber's assignments were always either lame or freakish. He didn't care for either. But this might be interesting. "Alright," says Virgil, knowing Yuber can hear him, "I'll get you your package. You just make sure you cover the paper end or we'll be starting a new war." Virgil disappears, on the hunt.

"It is too a word. It doubleplus is. So I guess I win that little game"
I put the games away. "Now you wanted to see your son. I can invite him over. I know the number...but, I need something from you first. You need to play along with my little game. But, if you agree to, you can see your son. This is a game we played before and I liked a lot. Do you remember?"

It has been a long day and I am very stressed. I hate giving orders that make me appear cruel or heartless, but people simply don't understand the sacrifices that must be made so that someday the world can be equal. In the end, they will be remembered for what they had to give.
I teleport home and do a little housework. It eases my mind.

I glance at the rambling Finnish man and am not sure how to react to him in a way that is respectful. I simply nod my head and do my best to ignore him.
"I wonder where Peter and Lena are. It is so nice that Peter decided to help the Eternal Light."

Stalin leaves the office with a smile. He has the perfect gift to get back on Lady Violet's good side... a gift from Mao Tse Dung for Stalin's 70th birthday. Two gifts, to be precice.
He arrived at Lady Violet's door with the gifts held behind his back and knocked on the door. He sighed.
"Lady Violet?" he said in that Georgian accent. "Are you home?"

I pick up a blood trail and follow it deep into the forest. Alister will not escape this time. I can sense that I am nearing him. And then, after walking for so many hours, I come upon him. He is on the ground.
[glow=violet,2,300]Get up Alister. I will not slay you while you are on the ground like this.[/glow]

"Yes Stalin, I am home. You can come in." I say.
I stop cleaning and go to the door.

Stalin walks in and smiles at Lady Violet.
"It's good to see you again, Lady Violet. How is work?" he asked in a friendly tone, his hands behind his back holding the gifts.

"Work has been going quite well. I have nothing to complain about in the least, comrade Stalin. And what about you? Have you enjoyed your work?"

Stalin nodded with a warm smile. "Yes, very much so. It is good to be doing what I love again.
"I've brought you some gifts, Lady Violet." Stalin said, producing a red box from behidn his back. It was topped with a yellow bow, the colors of the Soviet flag. "I have a feeling you're going to like them."

During my lunch break, I walk down to where Damascus is sleeping outside. He is in dragon form and doing a good job scaring away unwanted visitors.
"I brought you a little something..."
I hand him the coffee and cookie that I brought down to him. The cookie is in the shape of a red star.

"A gift, for me? From Comrade Stalin? How wonderful, but I scarcely deserve a gift. Never the less I appreciate the gesture." I say with my typical professional humility.

I listen to the Finnish man speak, but my mind wanders to Iltanesh. I wonder what he has been doing in these months he has been away. Maybe I can get him to join the Eternal Light so that we have some more time together.

Stalin laughs. "Do not be so modist, Lady Violet. You do more work than any of us at Red Infinity. Here." he says, handing her the box.
Inside is a Chinese fan with tiny Chinese writing on it... under a magnifying glass, you see that the handwriting is of none other than Mao Tse-tung himself. The fan contains all of his writings prior to Stalin's 70th birthday. It also contains the costume of the toiling Chinese people of Maoist China. The uniform is a red Chinese robe embroidered with gold five-pointed stars.
"Be careful - they are very... what's the English word... Old! That's it, old." Stalin said.

"What a lovely and exquisite gift. I am very thankful. What a kind thing to do. But I feel that I can not accept a gift without giving someone something in exchange. Is there anything that you would like?"
