"Thank you, Julia, I get that a lot. About working too much that is." I can tell that she's probably trying to read my mind. She'll not have an easy time doing so.
"And you're right, you and I are not so different. I just finish my work on time." I say, smirking.
"But you're right, people need to learn how to detach themselves from things. That is what's killing my relationship, and all of my previous relationships."

"Some people just aren't cut out for love. It is a chain on their leg. And who wants to be shackled down to something emotionally? If you want to be free than you have to be detached."
I yawn.
"So, did you say you wanted to see me after work. I don't remember."

Wow, we really aren't that different...
"Let me finish my paperwork here, Julia. I'm nervous about going to either of our places, Victoria is probably pining over me in my apartment, and the Ministry of Information has you under close watch."
I stand up, and step away from my keyboard.
"I could just lock my door."

"I agree." I state as I stand up. "Two of our friends are in trouble, we have to do something."

"That's fine by me. My apartment is a mess anyway."
I stand up and go to the window. I close the shade and lock the door. I thump my fingers on his desk while he does his paperwork.
I shred documents boredly while he finishes up his work. I like using the paper shredder. It is the one office thing that I can use without breaking.
When I am done, I walk over to Futsu, stand him up and put my hand on the top of his head.
"You look taller on TV. Is that propaganda too?"

After the scientists at the Ministry of Technology give him the run around, Despair decides to talk to the Minister himself. He seaches the building until he comes upon a head in a jar. He wonders how this could possibly be the Minister of Technology, but is very respectful nonetheless. "I am Despair. Several months ago I was here after the Zwei incident. I was examined and told that my programming had not been changed. I find this harder to believe since I have been unable to experience love or joy after my visit here." Despair explains to the professor.

I walk over to the door and lock it.
"Yes. As a matter of fact, everything I say is propoganda. Unless clearly stated otherwise."
I rest my hands on her sides, then look up into her eyes.
"You're taller when you stand up. You slouch too much." I say, in my propoganda voice.

"Your mind is a mess you know. I looked inside and couldn't make sense of it. It is a tangle of conflict."
I pull him towards me and kiss him. Even if he is my employer and more powerful than me, I am not afraid of him. I'm not afraid of anything.

When I recieve notice of Hera's death my normally composed expression breaks down and I weep for an hour straight. When I am done my eyes are red and my expression cold. Without a word I get up and walk out the door...

I lean forward, slowly edging us towards the top of my desk.
"You should be careful where you tread, Julia. Although you're in good standing with me, you're not invincible." I say, in regards to her tryng to read my thoughts. I'm very uncomfortable with anyone knowing what I'm thinking, and it's never going to happen.

"I think that Sayuka is already in Moscow, so we could trust her to take care of this. She is capable, but we should at least send someone to join her." Bassarov suggests. He thinks of people who have not been as active with the rebels. "We'll send Garret or Linnea to help get Freakboy out."

"Their propaganda is useful, but they need to take a more active role... You and I or Mischa and I could go if no one else wants to though."

I grimace when he puts me in my place. I get a little ahead of myself.
"I'll leave you alone. Don't worry. I couldn't figure it out anyway, and am too lazy to put any effort into it."
I run my hands up his ribs and lick his lips. I like him because he is more challenging than most men. He won't let me control him.

I appear and see krupskaya walking away from bassarov's house with a sack of stuff. I frown and walk with her. "... hello krupskaya... what are you doing?"

"I will send a message to Garret and Linnea to see if they are interested in helping Sayuka." Bassarov sends the message to Garret and Linnea and feels confident that the three of them can extract Freak Boy and Alister from the Ministry. "I must report to my job so I can turn in my resignation. It has become too dangerous for me to work there. The Ministry of Education stopped by here earlier and I think they will again if I keep working there. I'll see you later." Bassarov kisses Zero and leaves the apartment, taking the first train to Ouluu or the village where he was teaching.
