"The cold war."
My gray skin blushes. I hate above all things seeming to be better than anyone else.

Next time I will let the girls in the room answer, just so they do not feel left out.

"So, would you like to watch a movie or something? My library is stocked with almost every film which Red Infinity approved of. Personally I found that our kind can easily relate to the movie I Robot. It makes you think..." Herman said, sipping his beer.

I nod. "That sounds worth a try. I read part of Asimov's novel, but that was a long time ago...

I feel a little embarassed that I don't really know that much, but all of this was a long long time ago. And at least I am here to learn.

Stalin smiled. "Right again. You're an acceptionally bright young man, Kith."
Stalin wrote more things on the red chalk board.
Mensheviks, 1904. Failed revolution which Trotsky was part of.
Bolsheviks, 1917. Lenin leads revolution against the Czars and liberates Russia.
USSR, December 1917. We established our Communist government.
A revolution broke out in 1918, our country split in a civil war. With my leadership we squashed this revolution for the good of the international proletariat.
Cold War, the arms race between USA and USSR. USSR was ahead of USA through most of war.
"Now then, the Cold War was after my time as head of the USSR. The men responsible for the break up of the Soviet Union were... Gorbechev... and Yeltsin." Stalin said, writing their names on the board.

I am relieved that he asked no more questions of me.
I quietly take notes or observe.

"I loved zhe book, alzhough I found zhe movie to be so realistic it vas almost scary. Especially in..." Herman closed his eyes and his face appeared on a large plasma screen TV.
"Surround sound." his voice came from all around, before dissapearing. The movie began playing.
"I zhink you vill like it, mein frauline."

Rasputin chooses to ignore the ranting of Olga. He prays in his cell calmly. He is not afraid of his fate. He is sure that because of his Orthodox faith he will go on to a better place.

I remain silent and watch, spellbound. Most of the movies I have seen are low quality black and white productions, and a few color comedys curtesy of Freak Boy... This is neither, and it is mesmerizing.

"Now, this man with the horrid liver spot on his head," Stalin said, holding up a picture of Gorbechev. "is Gorbechev. He was the final leader of the USSR, as he was the one who let it fall to pieces.
"Despite the fact that I managed to get China as our allie when Mao Tse-tung and I met on my 70th birthday, Gorbechev never thought to use it to quell the rebellious nature of the Soviet People's demands for Capitalist American goods.
"Now, the reason I think Gorbechev was an ineffective leader was, aside from his questionable intelligence, this thing right here." Stalin said, pointing to the red spot on his head. "I think everyone was so busy staring at the spot on his head that they didn't pay attention to what he was saying... and he never thought to wear a hat." Stalin said with a grin. Laughter followed his criticism of Gorbechev.

When Indira does not return, I decide to go outside and see what is taking her. I bundle up and walk outside into the wintery forest to find her.
"Indira? Indira where are you?" I call out.
There is no reply. I search for a few hours, fearing something terrible has happened to her.
"Indira..."
Still, there is no answer. I finally come upon a patch of bloodied snow. I find her body nearby, burried in a shallow grave. I return to the Eternal Light to inform them of the news.
"Indira is dead. I think the league got her. I found her body in the forest."

Herman smiles at the mesmerized look on Erika's face. In some ways she still seems like a child. Herman liked this movie the day he saw it, and he could tell that Erika enjoyed it as well. It ended, seemingly too soon, as the movie flies by, and the lights come back on.
"Vell, vhat did you zhink, frauline?" Herman asked.
