I frown slightly, ... why would he be at the tops of the lists?... especially ASS's.... I continual to look at her before looking around the office lately. ... even so, surely there is something else I could do... instead of that

[Despair]

"Do you have any advice for me? I have tried Lexipro, but since I am an android, anti depressants don't work on me." Despair replies. He has come of the conclusion that he may live with depression for all of his life.

[Donald Morton]

"Hello Mr. Bassarov... I'd like to surrender my services to you immediately. Donald Morton, former Red Infinity Minister of War, at your service." I say as I kneel before him.

[Lady Violet]

"I don't think it needs explaining. He is a rebel. He has his own radio show. He writes political books. He is a hacker. He has tried to thwart the Little Sister project. I can show him no leniancy. The only way that we would release him is if you went to work for the Ministry of Terror. Since I know you are not inclined to do that, it is best if you left."

[Draconius Freud]

"Well, in this case it seems you've developed remarkably well, personally, but the people around you are horribly anally fixated. It is they who should be in councilling, not you."

[Despair]

Despair gets off the divan. His entire body looks wilted with disappointment.

"Thanks for your help."

He lowers his head and leaves the office. He would cry, but he is too numb to shed tears. He can feel only the dull pain of trapped emotion.

"I need help..."

He walks through St. Petersburg, trying to figure out who else could help him.

[System One, The Monitor]

"Director." The Monitor springs to life in Noe's office. "Our contact is requesting a word with you. He is on the long distance channel. Shall I patch you through?"

[Riku]

I clench my hand into a fist. ... he is not the only one that wants to end that... Forcing someone to go through that... is inhuman violet... especially since she is your daughter... .

I turn back and glance at her. ... you would never force hikari to do anything even close to that... so why Iris... .

[Noe "Ghost" Carlson]

"Yes yes, put him through. I wouldn't want him to get offended at this point in time. We're going to be needing his assistance in the near future if things begin to go south."

[Valodya Bassarov]

Bassarov looks at Morton in total surprise. It isn't everyday when a top Red Infinity official joins the rebel movement. He looks at the man and feels as though he can trust him. But all of this is still shocking.

"I heard Red Infinity was purging people. I suspect that is why you are here?"

[System One, The Monitor]

"Patching." A lance of light flares out of the blue orb that is the monitor, creating a six inch hologram of a tall cloaked figure. "Secondary note: DNA analisis of Lady Violet's blood is done. Printing." A roll of paper prints out of Noe's desk printer. "Beginning feed." The hologram shimmers, then moves as the figure shifts.

Most of the anarchists seem asleep at the moment. I bid good night to Zinn and walk outside for a breath of fresh air.

[Donald Morton]

"I wasn't purged... Hera Peacedove was, I don't want to associate with those that killed my love."

[Noe "Ghost" Carlson]

"Excellent." Noe tears off the print out, then turns to give his full attention to the hologram, which is moving activily now. The Monitor funnels the strange speech through the speakers on the desk as the person on the other end begins. Noe settles in. Their contact had a hadit of long, long introductions...
