((I was skimming. Just wondering. Also, I know it was Harold's mom. I think it would be funny if Raz thought that Harry was attracted to her, and she was worried about hurting his feelings about rejecting him. Never mind though. It sounded neater in my head.))
The latter. It's really a cultural thing. While there are a few similarities and shared ideas, dress is rarely a good gauge for belief.
"I have an Israeli name now, Raz Nili Ze'ev. Well, Major Raz Nili Ze'ev really. I'm a member of the Palmach."

Samuel thinks about how that would go down. "I might miss something. I'm more of a visual guy, so I was always better at reading German than speaking it. I can't understand it that well if someone talks to fast, and most of the German's I've met don't speak very clearly. I speak slowly and clearly, though. Mostly, its just time consuming because it takes me a little extra time to figure out what someone just said." He shrugged. "As a translater, I'd be a little above useless. One year of German is not really enough to learn anything beyond, 'Hello, my name is blank, I have 2 brothers, no sisters, I live in an apartment, etc. etc.' So, you see, translating what someone else is saying, without pen and paper and them speaking slowly and clearly, would be very slow, with little good results. I could mistranslate him as well. You see, saying 'I wouldn't tell you anything,' would probably go more like 'I refuse speak' or something to that extent." He explained. "Besides, I bearly passed that course. I think that writing and editing would be a better idea for me." He said.

"Ah, right. Sorry Lin--er, Raz. I'm gonna have to get used to that. Sounds like you're doing well." Harold says slightly jealous. His brother's a doctor, Linda's a Major and he's... he's a substitute teacher. He looks at Chaya.
"You must be Chaya?" he says, extending a hand. "Nice to meet you."

Chaya once again nods. He wasn't aware that Raz was once named Linda. He sighs and sits on the sidewalk looking up and Raz with admiration.
"Nice to meet you. I am Chaya. Like Raz, Chaya is not my real name."

(g'night.)
"Right... names, everyone's changing their names. Am I the only one who kept my name?" he asked jokingly. "Anyway, what are you guys doing here?"

"That's fine. As soon as I get more done in this book I will send some for you to edit." Bassarov steps back towards his room. "I should get back to my writing, did you need anything else?"

"Raz's friend Ezra was captured by the League of the Godless. We have come to ask the French people if they can help us free him from that place. Raz is very worried even though she does not show it." Chaya replies with child like honesty.

Harold smirks at the look on Raz's face after Chaya says this but quickly composes himself.
"Oh, really?" he looked to both of them. "Well, if there's anything I can do to help, just let me know."

"Nah, I'll just be working on that story then." Sam said, getting to his feet. He walked to the door, and turned back to look at Bass before he left. "Well, good luck, and have a good rest-of-the-day, Bass. I'll see you some time later." He smiled, gave Bass the thumbs-up, and walked outside, closed the door behind him and heading back to the metro. Well, so Bass was writing a book, someone, he didn't know who exactly, some random rebel, was writing a story against Red Infinity, and the rebels were holding a prisoner hostage. He had never met a German Red Infinity operative, even though they came from all over the world. Well, he'd never met a British operative either. He hadn't met alot of people within Red Infinity. He was a spy, he wasn't really suppose to meet other operatives regularly, as a general rule of secrecy. He'd also have to explain about staying with a rebel, Winter, to Lady Violet. Which shouldn't be hard, really. Just getting to know the enemy, fitting in.

"I do not think these French people can help in this situation. I am not a nationalist or a racist, but I feel that in this situation they can not offer the help needed. If you want to help, you could take us to the League of the Godless. That is where we are going."

"League of the Godless?" he asks in a nervous voice. "Well... I'm all for it. I'll help you guys out."
(let's continue tomorrow when Raz is back on.)

I reappear in Amsterdam. I keep coming back to the place where our base was. I don't know why I feel the urge to return.
I think of Harry Bergstrom. I will visit him again I think. He is a little quirky and reminds me of some of my old anarchist friends because of it.

Chaya turns back to Raz and waits for her to decide what they will do next.
"Raz is the one who gave me this chance at life. I owe her very much. She is teaching me about the world. I like Raz. She is my favorite person that I know."

Freak Boy continued checking his mail and, as he did so, realized something... this house was big and empty. Something he wasn't used to. His family was huge, 2 parents, 2 grandparents, 3 brothers and 2 sisters. The Rebel Base was never empty and Bassarov's apartment was never short of people either. For the first time ever, Freak Boy... was lonely.
Bassarov? Paging Valodya Bassarov. Freak Boy thought to Vodya in that "paging the doctor" voice.
