Thanks, Bassarov. Oh, and check your mail. I sent you a .doc of The Red Monarch. It should fit on a CDR, just in case you don't want it on your hard drive. Freak Boy thinks back.
He sighs. He's in a bit of an emotional paradox. He seems to yearn for human companionship, after all, solitude does nothing but slowly drive one more and more insane. Yet his paranoia tells him otherwise. His paranoia wishes for him to shun any and all human contact, become a recluse and hide from all those who seek him out. If he's learned anything, it's that when people seek you out and/or are "fans" of yours, it usually means they're from Red Infinity and coming to attack, assault and/or kill you...
In short, he wants human contact, but his understanding of Red Infinity's operations causes him to shun all human contact away, making him all the more lonely...... is that irony? If not, then it's, at the very least, a paradox of sorts.
He is startled when Elijah shows up from nowhere, but then remembers his and Bassarov's conversation. He extends a hand.
"Nice to meet you, Elijah. I'm Freak Boy." he said.
(sorry it took so long to edit this--my comp is being a pregnant dog.)

"It provides a unique view on the world, one that we encourage. And many of the processes that we used in the past to create our public operatives had less than perfect results on the mental status.
But what I mean is, if some of the rebels were to disappear, you wouldn't be concerned? You wouldn't be upset if someone else did a little of your work for you in eliminating rebels."

"If the LIF is interested in fighting the rebels, I won't be crying myself to sleep any night soon. Of course I don't care. I encourage it. It saves us the effort and me some stress."

"This is a nice place you have Freakboy." Elijah says as he looks around the spacious house.

"Thanks, but... it's not mine. My friend, Korbinian Kautsky, said I could use it since he's in Siberia." Freak Boy said, sitting up in his chair.
"Can I get you something to eat?"

"Certainly, I am not particular. I'll eat whatever you offer. So this home belongs to Kautsky? That is very interesting since I recently joined the democratic socialists. In fact, we just had a meeting and voted on our party constitution." Elijah says in a pleasant, but boring voice.

"I thought so. But there is the slight issue of property damage. Naturally we will be avoiding damage to any structures but something are unavoidable. While I can promise to keep it local, some of the buildings in or very near the rebel base might suffer... slight alterations."

"We have but two Ministries in Helsinki. The Ministry of Information and the Ministry of Education. So long as you avoid these and civilian cassualties, I see no problem."

"Ah, I see." he said, seeming interested. "Yeah, Kautsky and I met while we were in Siberia. I was his bunkmate. Aside from the fact he snitched on me when I was planning to escape, he's a very nice guy."
Freak Boy went into the kitchen and came back with some crackers, meat and cheese.
"Dig in, this is gonna have to do for a full course meal until I can get enough money to go to the market."

"Music to my ears, Violet. Well, that takes care of my business. While I am here, what do you think of the latest wanzer tests?"

"Oh let me go to the market and cook for you. It is really no trouble at all! I love to help people! In fact, that is the thing I love to do the most." Elijah replies with sudden animation in expression. Indeed, he is a very helpful person, almost too helpful at times. This is one of his personality quirks.

"Cook? What mean you by cook?" Freak Boy asked, since by go to the market he meant buy about 50 cases of spam.

"I think the machine will be very useful to you." I say neutrally.
In all honesty I am not intimidated or concerned about the Wanzer. I assume since he makes such a big deal of it, the machine must be something special to the LIF.

"I will prepare healthy and delicious meals is what I mean. I enjoy cooking and I am here at your service. Anything you need I will gladly help you. I live to serve others. I am the angel of socialism. I try to be selfless in everything I do."

"Uh, yeah... I'm a bit uncomfortable with servitude." Freak Boy said honestly. "Something about being waited on like that just seems... well, it'd go against my beliefs, which are very similar to yours. I'd feel too much like an Imperialist Fascist if I had a servant. Don't need a servant, but I could always use a friend."
