"Go ahead and arm yourself. I carry a sword. I have no reason to fear you since I am one of Red Infinity's best operatives...not to brag about myself."

Antero leans back in his seat and thinks about Sasha. It was one event, just one bad choice, that cost the lives of Simona and then Sasha.
He imagines himself back in Capital City. He and Sasha are waiting for Lady Blue. Soon they will capture and rape her. Why did things spin out of control? Why did this one act cause so much pain?
He is standing there in Capital City, on some un named street. He is watching himself and Sasha.
"No, don't..." He calls out to them.

We walk along the streets of Capital City, everything is so lucid and clear.
"That's comforting." I say with a hint of sarcasm. "Tell me about them. The capitalists. Oh, and if you wouldn't mind, I would like a handgun."

"The capitalists are the easiest to hate. They raped this world of resources and impoverished 90% of the world's population."

I stop by a weapons shop and get a handgun for Sasha, since I normally have no reason to carry firearms.

"Today we are hunting for the daughter of the former CEO of Rimmel Cosmetics. She is an attractive young woman, which helped her escape some other operatives last week."

Antero watches himself and Sasha tucked away in an alley. Charlotte O'neil is nearing them. He looks at Sasha.
"Why are you going along with me? Tell me not to do this. Tell me that you think it is wrong."

I feel strangely okay with the killing of capitalists. I slide the magazine into the handgun, pull the slide back, then holster it. I look around the strangely vacant unnamed streets, and see a stranger in one of the alleys. He looks cold and neglected, and almost as though he wants to tell me something. I pay no mind to him, and we continue our journey through the streets.
I simply reply with an "Alright."

I recieve a call informing me that our informants spotted her at a nearby mall.
"Here we go. Follow me."

I lead Sasha to the mall and enter through the glass doors into the fortress of materialism.

Antero watches himself and Sasha. "She's coming." "Are you ready?" "Yes." "Is this what we want to do?" "Make the capitalists suffer." He closes his eyes not wanting to watch what happens next. If he could just change that moment in his life, his world would be different.

I see what could very well be the target, and we follow her for awhile. She looks so innocent... But capitalism is a dead star, a supernova that has already destroyed the earth. Whether it's through Red Infinity or not, its remains need to be snuffed out.
"Is that her..?" I ask Kith, pointing to the attractive young girl.

"Yes. We aren't going to make a scene. We will take her with us. Since you have a gun, why don't you leader her out at gunpoint. We can take her to a nearby warehouse for questioning."

Then he sees it. He sees the scene unravel slowly. There is Lady Blue, the gas, she passes out...the warehouse...taking her back. Taking her bakc. Back in Amsterdam. "We're back in Amsterdam." Antero is no longer watching himself and Sasha. He is with Sasha again. But he can not control his actions. He is a part of himself yet no longer in control. He is not an observer but a participant.

"Right..." I reply, and sneak up behind her. I pull out the gun, and pull the hammer back. A clicking sound rings through the hallway. She turns a sharp 180 degrees, and looks at me with wide, fearful eyes.
"You're wanted for questioning, don't make this any harder than it needs to be." I say. She takes a few steps backwards, turns around, and starts to run.
I chase after her, and catch up quickly, wrapping one hand around her mouth, and the other resting the gun in her back.
"Do you know who I'm with?" She begins to cry, and nods her head. "Will you go make this easy?" She nods again, tears now streaming over my hand. I let go, wipe off my hand, and she begins to walk in front of me. I lead her to Kith.

I lead Sasha and the girl to a warehouse, a more appropriate place to kill her than in a mall. She is guilty and there is no need questioning. I just wanted to get her somewhere private.
++++++
"For your crimes against Red Infinity and against working people, you are going to die. Do you have any last words?"
++++++
I turn to Sasha. I will let him kill her. It will be good practice for him.
She says nothing but starts to cry.
"End this."

Antero is back in his old body. He is with Sasha as they take turns violating the young capitalist. They laugh and joke about it. Even through her tears and pleas for mercy, they continue. Antero the observer is inside himself, and he finds, that doing this all over again....he doesn't want to resist. He likes to cause this woman pain. She should have pain. She is part of the reason the world is the way it is.
It's good to be with Sasha again. Even doing this. Seeing him do violent things to his woman, it makes him love Sasha. He feels a solidarity with his friend. They are partners politically and in their crimes.
If no one would have reacted. If the world could have kept its eyes shut, he could still be with Sasha right now.
"We aren't to blame. We did something good. It is everyone else who had to blow things out of proportion."

The ends, justify the means.
I take a deep breath, and blink several times. A rush of power washes over me, and without a second thought, I raise the gun to her head and squeeze the trigger. The echo of the blast fills the room, startling even myself.
The power is now gone, leaving nothing but a strange, vacant, emptiness.
She sits in the chair, unresponsive, her head dangling over the back of the chair. I clench my gun tightly, smoke billowing out of the end of the barrel.
