I spend some time with Toivo at the rebel base in Helsinki before going to Bassarov's apartment to tell the rebels there of our plight.
I enter his apartment and see a few people gathered around. I step towards Zero and Andrew, since they seem the most sympathetic to the Green Party.
"Our base was destroyed by the Bloodspeakers and our members our scattered. It's horrible."

"You may know me, but I definately know you. My name is Nikolai Smirinaiov," he says while extending his hand to Bassarov. "In fact, I've come here looking for work, sir. But from what I hear, the job is done, in one way or another."

Instead of sending Dinari down to the mines, he is put on rock duty. Rock duty means breaking down large rocks and making them small for no reason but to labor. This is pointless hard work that drives Dinari insane.
"Once I get out of this stupid labor camp I swear I am going to kill every communist that crosses my path."
He hasn't the power to do this, but thoughts of revenge keep Dinari alive. It is his only hope in the dismal work camp.

Karina doesn't move throughout the whole movie. Where as she usually flinches at certain parts, she sits still, except to blink her eyes. It's only half way through but she rethinks her idea to watch this movie today. Maybe watching Rosemary's Baby was a bad idea. Makes her think if her children will turn out like that.
Can we stop watching this? She whispers, softly.

"Ochenb Pryatna, Nikolai." Bassarov says pleased to meet you as he takes Nikolai's hand. He assumes by his name that he must be of Russian origin.
"We are always looking for new rebels. Right now, we are doing our best to keep a low profile. Red Infinity recently killed some rebels as well as some of their own members. That is why we have been more careful lately."

I have been watching Dinari and mean to talk to him sometime. If he is a fellow American he and I might have some things in common. I would have more in common with him than that Kautsky fellow who tried to talk to me. I get back to work. Today I am working in the kitchen, cleaning the huge pots they make our meals in. From the window I watch Dinari and the others working outside.

"Sure thing Sayuka. You don't have to pay me or anything like that. I mean, I will teach anyone for free. Maybe I could teach rebel music lessons or something. That would be neat and stuff..." Andrew says enthusiastically.
"But um... I mean, I don't want you to think that I am a capitalist or anything, since I don't believe in payment. Spreading music is enough payment for me, but... could you teach me how to swordfight?" Andrew asks shyly.

"This city is so boring."
Feeling a little daring, I walk by the Ministry of Education. I can see that crews are already working to repair it. That's no fun. But at least I ruined their evening. If they rebuild it is just an incentive to hit them harder next time.
I keep walking and see Bassarov talking to some other man. I keep my distance and observe them.
"What do we have here? Another rebel? How boring. The world needs more nihilists."

"I'd be glad to help the cause."
He leans in and begins whispering, "We shall talk of such things later."
He leans back and says, "So how are things going for you? Where were you headed to?"

[glow=violet,2,300]"I see nothing capitalist about a free exchange of labor or talent. Neither of us would profit from it, but from the experience of learning and teaching. But yes, if you would like to learn more about fighting, I certainly could try. Do wednesday evenings work for lessons? Also I don't own a flute. Where could I obtain one at little cost?"[/glow]

"I have no destination in mind. I was just going for a walk since I needed some fresh air. If you need a place to stay I could give you the key to a room at the rebel base. It is just a few blocks from here. We converted the old metro into our base." Bassarov explains to him in hushed tone in case there are unwanted listeners.

Memphis stares, from afar, at the the HQ of the Green Party... or atleast where it was supposed to be. She is disappointed that she didn't get the chance to join before they were destroyed and scattered.
She shouldn't dwell here anyways. The last thing she needs is someone to notice she isn't exactly "normal". Memphis turns her back from the treehouse and pulls her hood farther over her head. Sure, people think its a little strange to be dressed head-to-toe in black but they'd think it was stranger for a girl to have glowing skin...

"Sure, I would appreciate that. If you are joining the rebels I would like to know your past experience with politics or the rebelion. Are you from Russia, then?"
