"I don't know much about him, but maybe I will talk to Alkonost, Swan, and the new fire bird, Memphis. They are all mythical birds and may have some insight on how he can be defeated or at least weakened." Bassarov replies.
He is not aware of the power of Kaitalish since he has never fought or even encountered the black pheonix. He has only heard stories from the Green Party, and since the Green Party is not know for its strength, he always thought they overestimated him.

"Andrew, we should head back to the house. I sense that something dark or unpleasant is nearby. I am not sure what it is, but it is something that doesn't belong here." Elijah says. He can not detect the dark angel, Kurjuus, only the vague feeling that something isn't right. He heads back to his house and is a little worried.

"The rebel movement needs something. If we could drive the Bloodspeakers out of Paris, that would be one small victory. It would improve rebel morale. If we all united against this Black Pheonix, it is possible we could drive him out of the city, even if we were unable to defeat him. I will make it a priority of the entire rebel movement to liberate Paris from this bird. Maybe it is time Kaitalish found somewhere else to nest."
Bassarov feels hopeful about this. The defeat of Kaitalish would allow the Green Party to rebuild as well.
"I will contact the mythical birds right away and call them to the rebel base."

Bassarov telepathically contacts Swan, Alkonost, and Memphis and tells them to report to the rebel base right away so they can help plan the attack against Kaitlish. He is excited about this, since it has been a long time since the rebels have had even the smallest victory against Red Infinity.
"Oh, it isn't any trouble. I just hope this works out, for your sake, and for the sake of the rebel movement." Bassarov replies.

Helene smiles and runs at Bassarov. She wraps her arms around him and kisses his cheek. Since she hasn't seen herself in a mirror, she assumes he was just playing about not knowing her.
Man, I've only been dead for less than a month. Have you forgotten me already, Bassarov?

Bassarov feels flattered but oppressed at the same time. He is oppressed by the feeling that nothing he does is enough, or that he needs to make better use of his time. He is also oppressed by his perception of what people expect of him.
He sits down and rests his hands on his knees, trying to get a grip on life and a sense of direction and motivation.
"They should be here soon."
Then suddenly he is attacked by the strange woman. He panics. Should he know her? Did he sleep with her at some point and give her the wrong impression of his intentions?
"Awe...hey, of course I remember. I was just joking around. You know me." He says nervously.

He sounds awfully nervous. Helene briefly wonders why but figures its because he thinks she will yell at him. So, have you seen Lilith, Lysander and Linette? I'm sure they will want to know their mother is alive, again.

iI leave Alkonost and teleport to the base as well. I wish I got along better with Alkonost. We used to be good friends. I wonder what happened.
I enter the base and take a seat to the left of Memphis.
