I wouldn't mind a few more socialists. I prefer those who have an understanding of socialism and who can play a complex and human character. Revolutionaries, comrades of Mischa or Bassarov ideally.

I would like to see more Finnish rebels as well.

I was thinking of making a serious socialist, Finnish character about two weeks ago, figuring that you would want more Finnish characters that were serious about their government form.
My biggest problem is that I am lacking in information on trotskyism(spl?), which is the form of socialism I know least about, and am the most interested in.
Bassarov, could you please give me a link to some good sites? Or make a socialist thread in the political groups section?

To sum up our beliefs:

1. We believe that capitalism is doomed and that someday working people will stand up against it in revolution

2. This revolution will be international, and that the workers will over throw capitalism and set up their own government and economic system

3. In this system, the economy will be planned based off of people's needs rather than by what is profitable. So people will work together and the fruits of production will be shared equally amongst the workers

4. Since the state is just a tool of oppression of one class over another, as people become better at producing and taking care of the needs of everyone...or in other words, when society becomes classless, the state, a crutch to establish the power of the working people, will wither away leading to an equal and stateless society.

5. Before the revolution, it is important to have a vangaurd party to teach the masses and to help direct the forces of revolution.

There is a lot more to it, but that is the basics of it.

I would really like a Finnish Trotskyist and will try to help you the best I can with the politics.

I find it easier to just have the information start out then to go looking for it online through search engines and the like, but that's just me. Ultimately, I prefer books as sources of information.
Now that I've found a way pass the school blocks, I have access to even more detailed sites on socialism.
