Soul Sword: Ryunosuke has training in the spiritual arts, and can harness his spiritual energy. His rather unique training has taught him how to concentrate his spiritual energy into a weapon. The aptly named "Soul Sword" is an expression of his soul's strength, crystalized into a blade. It can take whatever form Ryunosuke desires, and has no weight. As an extension of his spiritual might, the Soul Sword is a powerful weapon that waxes and wanes as his spiritual energy increases or drops in power. As it is a pure expression of his spirit, the Soul Sword dissipates if it leaves his hand, though he can create another with ease.
Splinter: Ryunosuke can splinter his Soul Sword into more than one blade, though the length is usually limited to about four feet when he does so because of the greater focus required for each blade.
Unsurpressable Spirit: The Soul Sword cannot be surpressed by null-fields.
Spirit's Flame: Ryunosuke can shroud himself in an aura of spiritual flame that harms those who are touched by it. The aura is only projected three inches from his body, but totally enshrouds it.

Unholy Energy: Because Ryunosuke's powers are derived from the soul, which is a pure entity, Unholy energy is anathema to his being.
Taint: Powers that specifically deal with maho or some other type of taint are extremely powerful against Ryunosuke, again because of the source from which his power derives. If the tainted ability is unholy, the efficacy of that power is increased even more.

Personality: Minamoto Ryunosuke is a quiet man with a penetrating gaze and impassive demeanor. He takes great pleasure in hunting those who do not belong to this world, and is fairly elitist with regards to the human race. He also tends to hold many non-LIF, especially those without combat ability, with contempt, thinking them unsuitable for more than menial labor.
Story: Ryunosuke always hated other races. From a very early age he was taught about the infidelity of nymphs, the misplaced arrogance of the elves, and the overall vile nature of all creatures. To his family, humans were the perfect race, and anyone who said otherwise was a traitor to the great race and deserved to die. When he was ten, his father was purged for attacking and killing a few vampires who worked for Red Infinity. When he was twelve, his mother was also purged, this time for killing some dark elves who worked for Red Infinity. With no family and nothing but a burning hatred left for those of "lesser" races, Ryunosuke began carrying on his family's legacy by murdering any nonhuman he could find. Soon after his mother's execution, LIF found the boy and took him in. Ryunosuke (who's name means "of the dragon") showed a great proficiency in using his spiritual force, and was accepted into the Magus Guild. Showing great creativity, he astonished his mentors by developing a new way of using spiritual energy, forming it into a blade of immense power. After his training, Ryunosuke was given the status of hunter, and has been able to devote his life to slaying the "lesser" races. The recent alignment of LIF with Red Infinity has angered Ryunosuke, he feels that Red Infinity is nothing but cowardly traitors to humanity and do not deserve LIF alliegance, or support.
