Up until recently, I had been debating with myself some of the things that go on within this rpg, like the gratuitous sex and violence. My understanding is that there are a lot of people under the age of 18 on this board, and well, that could offend a lot of parents. Imagine how your mother would feel if she stumbled across this site, and scratched a little below the surface to find its seedy underbelly. I thought to myself to bring up yet another poll on the question of moderating the sex scenes, and even putting it into another, password protected, place on the site.

Then my Godless communist side came out. People do a good job of moderating their own love scenes, by blacking out the good bad stuff, and it's really easy to skim over that way. As for the violence, well it's more of a political statement as to how crappy this government really is. To censor that would really detract from the message that yes, this is a horrendous totalitarian regime that you do not f'uck with.

So my position has changed from "I'm afraid of offending parents", to that of "you're protected under the first amendment of the constitution to say whatever you want on this board". When I was your age (I'm sorry, I really hate saying that, but I am older than most of you) I absolutely positively hated it when people second guessed everything I said, and told me that there is certain stuff I can't read or say or watch because of my age. The least I can do as a moderator on this board is to assume that you all feel the same way I did, and let you say and do whatever the hell you want.

In any event, though the sex scenes irritate me, I don't think it's so bad. However, were my little sister to join (which won't be happening) Relentless would turn even more Nazi-ish than he already is.
