((Not really. It nullifies ALL powers. That means mine too. I've had this power personally approved by Bassarov for Vaeris already, and I'm the guy who's been complaining the most about powergaming. Trust me, it's fine. It actually is part of my combat strategy which will require other players to consider their posts instead of just overkill with munchkin-like abilities.))

Nice try, Samuel. John tried that on me too with another character. This nullifies ANY AND ALL powers. That means my powers, your powers, the mailman's powers, any power of any source. Anything listed under the "powers" section becomes off limits. Why don't you people try to think of some original fighting tactics for once instead of just trying to find convoluted ways around this?

But i don't really fight. I'm not the fighter type.
But hell, i'll kill somebody if they're trying to kill me just becasue i didn't ask the goverment if i could have sex.

((Which is one of the reasons I made this character. I'm tired of people relying on their powers to see them through a fight. I'm somewhat old school in my RPing, as in I like fights to be a show of true RPing skill, not just a bunch of cataclysmic powers thrown at each other))

OCC: Well, it's totally non-specific. Does the nullification include shields? I don't see how anyone could have a power that nulifies all abilities. It doesn't really fit with your character. Maybe your ability only impairs seduction and influence abilities, or transporting. Heck, it would even be better if it only blocked offensive or defensive attacks. Abilities that block all other abilities fall into the "munchkin powers" catagory, as you put it, along with impenitrable sheilds and unblockable attacks. Do you mean three hours in real time, or three hours in board time?

((OK, basically it nullifies all powers from anyone. Powers means anything beyond what a normal human can attain in real life. It's not munchkin-like because it limits my own character in the same way. Characters must fight only with what they have and their skill. This basically makes it an even playing field, like other online RPs. Consider it to basically be a fight between two pure fighters, with no magic or any other power backing it. I hardly think it is unfair to expect players on this site to actually think about their posts from time to time, and the option to run is always available. As I said, it's been approved by Bassarov, and I went through it carefully to make sure that it isn't overly powerful. It can't be considered a godly power because it effects everyone, myself included, so I am left as powerless as the next person. It doesn't "block" them per se, it just makes them not work. Also, the three hours is board time, but since thats somewhat uncertain it usually just lasts for the duration of the fight, which wouldn't take nearly that much time.))
