appearance:
Personality: Serious, critical, and realistic. She is more liberal than Ezra on economic issues. She doesn't care for the United States or Capitalism, but she is not particularly opposed to them either. She has ideals, but cares more about practical application. She is very devoted to her religion, which is somewhat different than most other Kibbutzniks. Raz supports nationalism, the reinstatement of the UN, and trials for the Red Infinity higher ups. She also dislikes Red Infinity's policy of homogeny.
story:
Raz was born in Capital City in the Jewish section. She was born with the name Linda Hertzel. Her parents were Reconstructionist Jews. They had moved to Capital City from Moscow because of the increased religious freedom. Raz was a very serious student, and did rather well. When she turned 15, she began attending Zionist meetings in the basement of a local bar. She also began combat training. When she graduated high school at age 17, she headed for Israel. She joined up with the rebel group Hagana, and has been fighting actively for a Jewish homeland ever since. Raz changed her name to a more Hebrew one just before going to Israel. She has kept in regular contact with her parents, although not as much recently, due to Red Infinity reclaiming Capital City after the Louhi attack, making visits more dangerous for everyone involved. Raz is religious, but she is also a feminist. She owns her own set of tefillin, a tallit, and a kippa. In addition, she has a small Torah, and quite a few religious texts hidden away in her apartment. She has been in love with Ezra for some time, but she does not think he feels the same way. She is terrible at flirting, and is fine with keeping her relationship with Ezra at a platonic level. Raz is also extremely opposed to LIF. She has Ursarian sympathies, and does what she can to sneak Ursarians out of labor camps, reunite families, and sneak in food.
As a member of the Palmach (elite strike force) Raz has recieved special training, and deals with some rather delicate issues.
