Morton does not claim the title of "Dracula" or "Prince Tepes," as far as he knows he is just a distant relative of the Tepes clan. He serves only Kolov and Lin-Sat, and refuses to take orders from other ministers. In addition he is enamoured with Hera Peacedove, even though he has never met her before...
