Assata was wrongly accused of killing a police officer during the late 1970s in the former country known as the United States. She was targeted for this crime because of her political activities/ earlier membership to the Black Panther party/ and involvement with the BLA.
She went to prison for murder, but broke out in 1979 and fled to Cuba.
There, she lived in exile criticizing the policies of the United States.
Years after she died, she was cloned by Red Infinity to serve them. However, she escaped the Ministry of Terror and went into hiding in Cuba.
She is a communist (though not a stalinist) and a nationalist. (these do not contradict since socialists of the fourth international believe in the right of self determination and Trotsky wrote about black liberation)
She supports the right of self determination of all people, but is especially sympathetic to those of former african nations, and black minorities within white dominated societies
She feels that Red Infinity has not established racial equality, since even Red Infinity itself is dominated by mostly white or asian males, with the notable exception of Lady Violet, who is just a propaganda figure.
