Nova has shoulder length red hair. She is tall and shapeless. She wears a red and orange shirt with thin black pants. Her male and female appearance isn't much different.
Personality:
Nova is outspoken and doesn't like authority. She is hot tempered and very volitile. Some people think she may be bi polar, since she is sometimes very happy and cheerful and the next minute she is either depressed or angry.
story:
Nova was turned into a vampire long ago by a man named Cereus. She wanted to become a vampire because she wanted to live forever. She was 30 years old at the time and concerned about aging. She started hanging out with the wrong crowd and changed her life around only after a mysterious vampire hunter nearly took her life.
She decided that feeding on humans was not cool and it put her life in serious danger at the hands of vampire hunters. Ever since her near death experience, she has not hunted humans for blood. Instead she goes to blood banks. She is thankful to the vampire slayer who could have killed her, but instead left her beaten and near death. It allowed her to change her life. She would like to meet him again someday, but assumes that he is dead.
Years after her near death encounter with a vampire slayer, she had a run in with an evil sorceress. The sorceress cursed her so that during the day time she is a woman and at night she is a man. Since she is a vampire, she spends more of her waking hours as a man than as a woman. She would like to find this sorceress and kill her so the spell can be broken.
Just like her body changes from male to female, her politics change as well. When she is a woman, she is a Marxist, and when she is a man, she is an anarchist. She does not know why her politics change when her body changes and would like to get to the bottom of that mystery as well. She often times argues with herself by writing political arguments as a female, and then refuting them as a male.
Male or female, she is always a revolutionary feminist. She is a feminist since she feels that capitalism and fuedalism set up and perpetuated the current system of gender inequality. This is something that both her anarchist and communist sides can agree on. She feels that if classes were destroyed, the inequalities in gender would also go away.
Even though she is tempermental, she has a soft spot for children. That is why she is a teacher at a secret elementary school. She tries to hide from her school children that after 6pm she turns into a male. At 6am she turns back into a female.
Her family is dead since she is very old. She has a hard time making friends because she sometimes angers people and she is not the most patient and tolerant person to be around.
She does not have a love life, since she is sometimes sexually confused. She considers herself a lesbian, but normally pursues women when she is in her male form.
She has a streak of male hatred out of the jealousy that it is so much easier to pick up women as a male than it is as a female.
