Juhazan - A heavy slash from his Bastard Sword, slashes projectiles in half, reflects them away or can cause devastating damage

Rekkyoudan - A protective barrier that lasts for a few minutes (1 post) and can only be used 2 times a battle, the 2nd barrier is more weaker than the 1st and can be broken abit more easier.

Footwork - Raiden's advanced speed and agility allows him to run along and stand on walls or ceilings.

Shadow Stealth - Raiden is able to slightly blend in with any shadow that exsists in the area.

Telepathic Intercept - If focused enough, Raiden can intercept telepathic messages between two people.. but because this ability hasn't been mastered, it leaves him with a painful headache.

Weakness: Because of Raiden's short stature, he doesn't have a very long reach. He sinks like a rock when it comes to water, normally because of his heavy gear and he can't swim very good.
If not fully guarded, Raiden's body can't endure fire attacks very well and can take critical damage.

Appearance:

Personality: Because of Raiden's young age, he can sometimes act immature and persistant most of the time. But as thingyy as he is, he tries his best to be as mature as he can be. When it comes to fighting his enemies, he is rather quiet and doesn't hesitate to do what he is ordered to do.
Because of this, Raiden can be considered "cold hearted".

Story: Raiden was born infront of a japanese shrine. One of His ancestors was Shinmen Musashi No Kami Fujiwara No Genshin who was a famous samurai fencer from long ago. As Raiden grew he became a very skilled Samurai, almost exactly like his ancenstor. Unfortunately Raiden's loving parents were killed by a spreading disease in his village.
After that day, Raiden was raised by the chief of the village. One day, a group of Red Infinity soldiers came to their village to rest after a hard fight with the Rebels.. almost a day later the Rebels discovered the village and the Red Infinity soldiers and a violent battle broke out. Unfortunately, the village was burned down and destroyed during the battle..
There were only a few survivors that day and one of them was Raiden.. The other survivors started a new life elsewhere, but Raiden decided to go with Red Infinity and became an operative.. He saw Red Infinity as respected allies, while he identified the Rebels as sworn enemies.

This isn't a videogame character, is it? If it is, I will be very, very displeased. There will be flaming hailstones, and rivers of blood, and... you get the point.

There are a lot of problems with this story.

1) There haven't been any samurai for thousands of years.

2) Your character is, for all intensive purposes, a teenager, unless you give an actual age. He would need time to learn these skills.

3) Japan is a heavily modernized nation at this point. If your character was born any time in the last 600 years, I really doubt he would be living in a small village, especially at the rate that Japan's population is and was growing.

4) Samurai don't fence.
