Appearance: Taint appears as a black vaporous cloud. Chaya looks like a 14 year old male with dark hair, purple eyes, and a strange marking on his face.


Personality: Chaya is Friendly, lonely, and depressed. He is also very loyal to Raz Nili Ze'ev

Story:
Taint was a power used by Roland against Antero Black, because of his crimes against the laws of the Anti Sex Scouts. The taint caused Antero to become very ill and take on some demon characteristics. Eventually the taint was removed from Antero by an exorcism performed jointly by Hagana and anarchists. Raz Nili Ze'ev then tried to reason with the taint and figure out why it had taken over Antero. The taint was polite and wanted nothing more than to find happiness and comfort in humanity. Raz offered to find a human body for him and also offered to name him. Since he is not yet thought of a name, he is called Taint or Mr. Taint.

Raz later named him Chaya. Chaya was brought to Hagana who gave him the body of a boy who recently died when his house and family was attacked by the League of the Godless. He has no memories from the child and maintains none of the child's behaviors or beliefs.

He wants to help Hagana, since they helped him, but he is not Jewish. He considers himself agnostic. He is open to learning more about Hagana. Judaism and Isreal.

Since he was the taint, he is more of a nihilist. He doesn't believe in anything or have any real attachments to the world. The only thing that he cares about is Raz, who helped him to become human. He enjoys learning, and though he doesn't have strong beliefs about anything, he wants to learn what other people believe.

That is his goal right now, understanding people and what they believe.

Oh my god... this is... not what I invisioned. I mean... it can be explained, but still, to have the embodiment of corruption want to be human? I could just cry...

I still want a description as to how this is different from the Maho taint. Also, the fact that you can taint someone against their will means that it should be curable, since maho is uncurable ONLY because people have to accept for it to work, and I think Roland was still working out the cures in his profile. Otherwise approved, and I think its more Rolands job to come up with how the taint functions than yours anyways.

Well, I don't know much about the Maho blood so I can't answer that yet.

As to the cures, I'm working on a third one. It needs to be rare but not impossible.

RI people have easy access to dragon's blood and godly blessings so the third should be something the rebels can get.

The "taint" is the corruptive spirit of the Wyrm, the incanation of uncreation. The Wyrm is kind of like the opposite of the Manala Tree, but nowhere near that powerful.

So, when the Wyrm gets into something, it starts to break it down. In simple things, it happens quickly and violently. In comlex beings, there is alot of life, and the life energy fights the corruption.

If something has enough life energy, it defeats the corruption. If it doesn't have enough, but still tries, it eventually dies. The process of resisting the corruption is what causes the mutations. The corruption is trying to destroy and the being is trying to survive and the result is freakish mutations.

The third option is if the infected person willingly gives into the corruption. If they do that, then the Wyrm's "unlife force" replaces their lifeforce and they becomes a being of corruption.

All right, that sounds fine. It's different than the maho taint, so it will just be a different taint altogether.

The taint would have to be weak to purifying abilities of greater power. Maho is too, to an extent, but the true Maho taint is not because it is voluntary.

Or at least that is my understanding.

Maho cannot taint someone who doesn't accept, but it is painful to an untainted person, and purification powers can dismiss the taint. In a person who has accepted the taint, but has not been fully consumed by it, purification can remove a great deal of it, but not all of it, and it will continue to take control of the recipient.

20 Interdimensional Portal- Chaya can create a portal to other dimensions such as Hiitola, Tounela, Taivas, etc. He can only use this power once a week and sleeps for several hours after using it.
