Race: Laeos. The laeos are a race of extremely intelligent, flighted felines. They hail from planet earth itself, but they are so reclusive and rare that they have yet to be widely unearthed. Part of that is owed to the 1000 year hiding. 1000 years ago, the remaining Laeos gathered up their things and all the spores and seeds they could find and slipped away into a network of caves and slept, to weather out the events that followed until the world was ready to support them again. One of their angels was retrieved earlier to discover the circumstances of the world after their Time Away (as a laeos would call it) and it was decided that their reintroduction should take place over 500 years. Though that would be 5 human lifespans, the Laeos are extremely long lived and do not show signs of deterioration with age. Instead, their fur will change as it ages. An average Laeos can live to be beyond 10.000 years.

Needle-Beam rifle- A reliable weapon. It fires a cartridge that splits up into hundreds of tiny, lazer charged needles. Her appendage blades allow her to fire the weapon with one hand. The weapon is very slow firing, but very effective on flesh and certain types of energy shielding, but it is worthless against metal or glass more than a few millimetres thick.
Laeos- Claws, Teeth, etc. Everything nasty and sharp you've come to expect from an angry lion.

2) Language Mastery: Having lived for 23 years before going to sleep, Dragona had alot of time on her hands to study. This allowed her to learn most modern (at the time) languages and a few dead ones. Her mastery of modern english is a bit rushed and shaky and an occasional snarl and growl of Leonian has its way of getting garbled in the middle of a sentance.
3) Elemental Resistance: The Laeos have neglected their defenses throughout the years of study, so the elders developed several skills that can remedy some of the lack. This is one of the first and most basic skills a young Laeos learns, and is almost required for survivaly. It allows her to resist extreme amounts of natural heat and cold, and will lessen the damage she takes from elemental skills by a bit, though it can be overpowered by better skills.

Confusion: Dragona has a great difficulty understanding alot of the things non-laeos do and occasionally when her stressed mind is forced too full of information, she collapses and clears everything out, no matter how bad the timing is.
Fire: Living in Siberia made her almost forget what warm was like, and this gives her an immense weakness to fire.

Human Form- Dragona stands about 5'7" in her human form. She is very skinny but maintians just enough fat and muscle to keep from looking bony. Her hair is about knee length and silvery in color. The only time it ever appears tangled is right after she wakes up from any sleep. Her eyes are a bright blue that makes a person wonder if there's something a little off about her or not. Normally she wears a long black dress that has grey ruffs of fur on the collar with a pair of black pants underneath, but she can also wear the next closest thing this form allows to her laeos Aegis. This consists of a few layers, going from inside to out:
1. Quilted Padding- A pair of pants, a long sleeved tunic and boot liners of quilted fabric for protection so her skin isn't pinched in the mesh and isn't open to any immediate damage.
2. Chain mesh- Covers the same parts as the padding, except no boots. Allows the ring mail to mount properly so the whole assembly doesn't slouch off.
3. Ring mail- The last piece of stronger metal chain mesh that allows the final plates to stay on correctly. The foot covering is a tough leather-like material covered with mail.
4. Armor Plating- The bulk of the protection comes from here, and it's not middle ages metal armor. It's fully up to date with the time and is more than capable of living up to its task. It's nearly bullet proof where it covers, however protection between the plates leaves much to be desired. The helmet appears like a lion's head, complete with mane.
5. Decorative plate- Offering nothing in the ways of protection, it does nothing but look good. Usually destroyed within one or two hits.
As you would guess, this armor weighs a great deal and Dragona will scarcely ever wear it. It is fully functional, but it is now taking up a new residence on the mannequin in her bedroom.

When Dragona is in her Laeos or original form, she is solid white with blue eyes, a blue mane and tail and several blue marking around the paws that suggest flames. Her wings appear very similar to a dragons. Usually outside of the white island, the Laeos is primed for combat and wears thick plates of glassy armor that does not behave like glass. It acts more like a thick, dense jelly absorbing blows, projectiles and heat, though it does not hold up too well to swords and cold.
Personality: Intelligent, and quiet. Though she does not seem like the type to join up with the party party, she's just looking for a good time at the moment. She is very unsure of herself as a human and will sometimes stare up at the sky in the general direction of the stars of her closest comrades back at home for a while, as if she is looking for reassurance. She has a high tendency to slouch over and bobble her hands as if she is walking on all fours again since she is not quite used to looking human.

She lived a typical first year of a Laeos life, doing nothing but living near the archives and libraries and listening to the oldest of her kind. She gained much of her knowledge during this period, though she did not socialize, as was the norm. Her life barely had begun (She was barely a year old by the Laeos calendar) when it was put on hold. Everyone of her race was ordered to put themself into a deep sleep in several magical chambers deep below the earth's surface which would allow your life to continue mentally while your body slept. Thus she continued her studies over 1000 years when she was torn awake by the Laeos angel called Neradravic. He had decided her language mastery would make her a perfect lion for the job of being the first of her kind back on planet earth. It was unknown how the government would react to a large talking lion, so they chose to disguise her as a human. Though she did not like this one bit, it was decided that it had to be done, but she is allowed to sleep in her Laeos form. So, she wandered down south from the White Island in the sea north of Russia. Thankfully she lost her direction and went in a more southwesterly direction and found herself in Helsinki, Finland. After setting up shop and getting an apartment, as well at a job in the nearby university teaching, she ran into an agent from the party party, and immediately she was hooked into joining. Though her upbringing prevents her from being fully Hedonist, she is always looking for ways to entertain herself. Because of her short, rushed childhood, she was expected to take care of herself and her mind will take the simplest way out nowadays, because the preferred way out isn't usually understood by humans and hence she is an exsistentialist. Her life's purpose...as a Laeos, it is to learn and record everything for future generations, but as a human, she is not quite sure of it.
