I would rather people not start playing as dragons, since they tend to be a little too powerful. So the only way people may play as them is if they work for Red Infinity. So then, here is how Dragons fit into the Red Infinity universe.
Dragons were created by a human sorceress turned Goddess named Louhi. Therefore, they are known as
the lohikäärme. Louhi creatd them after the age of the Kalevala, when the Sampo was reforged and she for a brief while, had the supreme power of the universe. The black haired sorceress can herself turn into a multi headed multi colored dragon.
All lohikäärme were created by Louhi, therefore, all are servants of the dark goddess. Though some tend to be less evil than others. So there are no "good dragons" who serve a good god. This means that even bronze, gold, and silver dragons are evil.
The lohikäärme tend to be arrogant and rude, caring little for human life. They normally have an abbreviated name for a much longer dragon name. The language of dragons is the language of magic itself.
Lohikäärme come in almost any color, but the most common are green, red, blue, silver, bronze, gold, white and black. Colouration determines which powers and geographical location they are likely to dwell in. Colouration also determines how they will appear in their mortal form.
For instance, black dragons usually appear as dark elves.
Or red dragons would appear as humans or elves with red hair or red eyes.
Normally the hair or eyes would be the same colour as the dragon.
Most dragons were killed in the final battle against Louhi, though some found sanctuary on a planet set aside for them by Jumala Mysthysta. Very few remained on Earth, and those that did, were killed in later centuries by knights or brave humans.
So that is how dragons fit into the universe, and what a person must conform to if they decide to play as a dragon.
