like so many other things, elves are slightly different here than in other books or rpgs. This is how elves fit into the universe of Red Infinity.
There are three main types of elves, and two lesser ones. Here is a break down of them:
Light Elves: The most common type of elves who rule Planet Kvak with a theocracy. Their society is administered by various temple, and the supreme authority is the High Temple. The high temple is run by a high priest. A council of Arch priests also rule on a council there.
Every light elven city has a temple and priest, which is protected by seven holy knights.
Meterex is the god of the light elves, and he is the god of nature. He is also known as Tapio when he assumes a human form. He is the husband of Mielikki, goddess of the Druidians.
Light elven society is highly organized, with many religious laws and codes. Religion is the center of every light elf's life.
Moon Elves: Moon elves reside in the northern regions of Kvak. They have dark hair and skin that has a blueish tint. They do not have as organized of religious society. They too follow Meterex, but split away from the main temple and its jurisdiction. Thus, they worship Meterex differently. Think of them as the "protestants" of elves.
Dark Elves:
The Dark Elves long worshiped the malevolent Spider Queen. Their societies were in a constant state of household civil war, as families struggled to gain power within the theocratic city states. The society favored women, as it was matriarchal and matrilineal.
However, their goddess died in the war of gods, and drow civiliztion fell into Chaos. Keitoleinen stepped in and offered to replace her. He fell in love with the drown priestess Astilith, who was later killed by Light Elf Holy Knights.
Wild Elves
Live on the Islands south of Light Elf territory. They do not worship Meterex, rather their own indigenous gods.
They often mark their faces with tattoos and are taken as slaves for the Light Elves.
I will complete this later.....
