"Long. I was born in Russia, but it was a very long time ago. My mother and father were farmers... they were killed when a neighboring political leader went through the countryside bringing death. Our house was burned. The only reason that I survived was because I was out in the woods, trying to find a goat that had gone astray.
After they died, I lost all feeling. My mind wasn't working right. I heard of a demon called Kuro that could grant immortality. I thought that if I only lived long enough, that I could outlive the pain in my heart. I made the biggest mistake of my life.
The time between then and now has been dark. I sought out ways to quell the aching in my soul, the emptiness there. I have done many terrible things. The least of which was working for Red Infinity, which is where you met me. My life has been terrible, it has only found some goodness in finding you. I have begun to feel again, and almost feel human.
I'm sorry, I have told you too much and now the mood is too dark. Forgive me."

"I think it sounds great," says a voice from behind them. A averaged sized man in a black suit with a red tie and short hair the same color of red as the tie stands behind them, "Sorry to ease drop of course but you both soud so very interesting. What a story! It'd be a perfect moive, I even know who I could get to play your part," he forms a square with his thumbs and indexfingers, looking at Kaieka through them, "Yes, the tortured little girl from the country," he turns his square to Bassarov, "And the lone rebel who she loved! Brilliant!"

Suzumi fell asleep in the kitchen, too drowsy to go upstairs and sleep.

"Who are you and where did you come from?" Bassarov asks the stranger.
It seems that random strangers had been entering his life quite often as of late.

Suzumi woke up a little later. Something was digging into her head. She sat up and rummaged through her pack, finally coming across the tacky and mysterious vase that she found at the Ministry of Terror. She was suprised that it hadn't broken, after all she'd been through. 'I completely forgot about this...I wonder why they had it at the Ministry of Terror.' She resolved to show the vase to Riku or Kaieka, and see if they knew anything about it. She entered the living room to see Bassarov with them, watching a small box with moving images inside of it, and another strange guest in the room.

I draw my kris. Not only am I not fond of stangers, but I especially am not fond of those who would listen in to my private confessions and then mock them. A snarl forms on my lips. "Shall we just kill him now and get it over with, Bassarov? Oh, hello Sazumi, want to help?"

"Hello Sazumi, we have another myserious stranger loitering about the house again. It is nice to know that I am a popular guy. I see you still have that vase, I wonder if it is has any secret powers. I once heard of an artifact called Krupskaya's Cursed Vase. I wonder if that is the one?"
"As a rule Kaieka, I don't attack people unless they attack me. Let's see what he wants."

I sit and pout in protest, keeping my eyes glaring at the newcomer. I play with the end of my kris, moving the tip of its zig zag blade between the tips of my fingers. "You are such a spoil sport, Bassarov. But I will wait. Any objections to my having his blood once we finally do kill him? I am in need of a good feeding... what flavor I wonder... Irish creme?"

Bassarov regards the stranger. He wears a suit and speaks with an American accent. He must be a capitalist. Bassarov becomes a bit angry. He hates Americans for what they did to the world.
"You don't want his blood, it would give you a sour stomach."

"I believe that you may be correct, but I'm willing to give it a try. I always was a sucker for redheads. Besides, I need nurishment... he will have to do." I lick my lips and smile at the stranger, still playing with my weapon.

"Well now that's rather rash! I believe we're under a misunderstanding here. I thought his house was empty. I've been sleeping in the basement for a week now. Apparently the people in this area don't like strangers sleeping in the parks."

"And I don't like strangers sleeping right under my nose, without me knowing about it. What of when the house was collapsing... were you sleeping then? Must be quite a sound sleeper."

"If you are some wealthy American capitalist, why have you been sleeping in our basement? Have you had a little hard luck?"
Bassarov now feels compassion for his capitalist enemy.

Suzumi glanced at the vase, shrugged, then silently handed it to Bassarov. She blinked slowly, trying to absorb everything that was happening. Her head was starting to hurt. "Why's it cursed?" She glanced at the stranger. "I guess it's a good thing that Riku wanted to sleep on the roof."

Great! I see that compassionate look a-twinklin' in Bassarov's eye. Just when I thought that we were about to get some action. I slump down further into my pout. "I know that look. What Bassarov? You want us to cook him a meal and give him an extra pair of trousers and send him on his way?... Why can't we just kill him? You don't even like Capitalists!"
