Bassarov goes outside and stands by Mischa, he says nothing for a long while. He ponders the events. What can he say?
"This is a mess. But with time, everything works out."

* I stand up, alittle out of breath.*
" You've...gotten...stronger...alot stronger."

I feel Bassarov's presence, and continue looking over the horizon. I point down the street at an ancient church that somehow manages to stand tall despite all the carnage that's been going on. Almost none of its windows are intact, it's nothing but a meer shell of a building, but that alone is astonishing.
"You see that?"
Bassarov squints his eyes to struggle and make out what I'm pointing at. Before he can respond I say,
"That would be ideal for me to sleep in were this town ever attacked again. How are we for weapons?"
I take a long hard drag on my unfiltered cigarette, and rub my hands against my body, feeling little scars, as if something had clawed me to near death.

I can't believe he fell for that.
I get up and grab my side.
"I think I broke a rib."
He comes over to take a closer look. I slam my elbow into his chest. I knock to the ground.
Then, I grab his arm and pull him up to me.
"You should know that something is up when I surrender. I never surrender."
He looks a little surprise, and gasps a little. His hair is all messy and out of place from when I pulled on it. I try to straighten it for him.
"Well, that was fun."

"We are utterly powerless. We have nothing. No weapons, few people. No support. But what good are weapons. Most of Red Infinity's operatives are walking weapons. What good are guns again people who can destroy an entire city in one attack."
Bassarov looks at the city. He wants to believe there is hope.
"I could go to Dinari Dollar. He is the CEO of Capitalist Corp. He could give us money and the help of his scientist. But he is a rampant capitalist. When I go to him for help I feel like I am selling my soul." Bassarov then realizes souls do not exist. "You know what I mean."

* My eyes get alittle wide, but I manage to regain my composure.*
" I should have expected that. And I should never bother to change clothes when I'm with you, you rip them all anyway. "
* I teleport to my home in a split second grab a change of clothes and telepot back. I go into the bathroom, change my clothes, a red long sleeve shirt and my black pants. I step out again.*
" But... the point is, your getting stronger."

I spit on the street.
"nuts... So how ARE we supposed to fight against that?"
After feeling around my body, I touch a deep scar on my chest that probably missed my heart by a few inches.
"Maybe we're not supposed to fight them. Maybe we're just supposed to survive, and expose their lies."
I toss my cig on the ground, and put it out with my foot.
"There is always hope, comrade, that is what my father told me. It still might be a good idea for me to camp up in that church. Do we have any radios so I could warn you?"

"Thankyou."
I feel completely worn out. My body aches with bruises. I sit on my bed. My room is now a mess, with things knocked over and broken. Not that I ever kept it very orderly.
Cal looks warn out too. That makes me proud. I like to challenge him.

I woke up, no longer tired. Hmm...I wonder if there's anything to do... I mused. I looked at the computer. I stood up and sat in front of it. I turned on the internet and checked my mail. There was an e-mail from the person who was going to teach me. I read it, and I was glad that it said that I was accepted. There was also a list of recomended books. I turned off the computer and made my bed. Then I walked out of the room.
I have to go to the library, I said as I opened the door of the apartment and walked out.

"Sure, I'm sure we could find some. It might be better to split up into cells within the city. Red Infinity knows where we live, and Kaieka may tell them more. You can stay there if you like. I could send a few others with you. Perhaps Lunar or John. Or Leonine....if you could stand that."
Bassarov folds his arms. He tries to figure things out.
"No, maybe we are not meant to fight right now. There are just too few of us. But we can work to stay alive and rally support for our cause. Then, at least future generations may be free of this...."
Bassarov looks at the smoldering cigarette on the ground.
"That's bad for your health."

I look down at the cigarette with Bassarov and reply;
"Neither are hundreds of bats clawing at your skin."
I look back towards the church.
"I think I should be fine by myself, but maybe one other person would be a good idea. I don't know anybody well enough to recommend someone, so I'll trust your opinion, or maybe ask for a volunteer. I'm terrified that Kaeika will do something rash. And seeing as how she's changed sides, pretty much everything she does from now on will be rash. This might sound overdramatic, but maybe we should get out of Helsinki, or maybe just you, for your safety."

Bassarov frowns.
"I am the one holding the small rebel movement together. I suppose I could leave the city. But that would be detrimental to the cause. I am not sure I can be so selfish."
Bassarov moves to go back outside.
"Sometimes I would like to just leave everyone and everything and just hide away. I hate being hunted by Red Infinity. And now, things will only be worse."

"The most powerful form of resistance is leaderless resistance. Do you have faith in your comrades to lead themselves? You're going to be a marked man now. Even more so than before."
I laughed half heartedly.
"I'm surprised you're alive now! Weren't you already captured once??"
"I do think we need to relocate... Maybe we should consult the others and see what they think."
