The Struggle of Ages

[Louhi]

Louhi watches as Ukko leaves. She surveys the damage below her and smiles. She could wipe them all out, here and now, but she decides against it. They really aren't worth her time.

She returns to Kaschei's study. There are two more people in the room, an elf and a small child. She takes them in, coldly, and then ignores them. They are small and weak.

"You are quite the one for company, are you not, Kaschei. This world is weak. My powers could stay at this level and I could conquer this planet with my darkness. But Ukko is yet a threat, and Jumala Mythysta still remains. Find me what I need to gain my true power."

[Kaschei]

Kaschei looks at the little girl and does not recognise her as Sazumi.

"Go along now, the two of you. I am busy."

Kaschei walks away from them both, caught in the bliss of his magical acheivement. He rivived the goddesss!! He turns to the goddess.

"All that is needed now is the Kampa, and you will return to your full strength. Your power will not be bound to me or the egg as it is now."

[Peter "The Owl"]

Peter's eyes open and he breaths, a great gasp of air.

The Hunter coughs and sits up, looking around the woods. He spots the golden armored figure and speaks in a raspy voice, "Who are you? Were are we?"

[Louhi]

"That is what I desire." The goddess replies, her voice low and raspy.

"You shall be rewarded greatly for your service to your goddess. I am generous to my loyal servants."

She smiles, her teeth flashing in the light. Her rewards are usually brutal, and unexpected. She has no friends, and only keeps those around that can be of use to her. For now, however, the sorceror is needed.

[Valodya Bassarov]

The balance of good and evil in the Universe has shifted dramaticly toward the dark. Chornebogk, spirit of darkness, is empowered by the blackening of the Universe. Bassarov, who hung so long in that realm between life and death....wakes up.

His eyes flash open...white liquid splurts from his gaping mouth. Black wings sprout from his back. He skin turns black and wet. He increases in size to nine feet tall. His hands turn into sickle like claws.

"I am Chornebogk, spirit of Darkness..." he hisses at Omadon.

"...and your world....is.....dead...."

[Benjamin Solaris]

Ben knelt beside Kazenara, his hand on her shoulder.
When should I tell her? It feels so good to be here with her. But I don't know if the time is right.
Ben sighed and continued to survey the damage that was done. The white haired being bring destruction to them.
"I'm sorry I wish I could help also but...with out sacrificing life a human cannot."

[Kaschei]

KAschei holds out the egg and articulates his commands. "While I am seraching for the Kampa, I want you to report to Beijing. Lady Violet will give you work. Perhaps you could even be her political advisor...."

[Omadon]

Omadon turns to watch the change. Those chains were not made to handle something like this.

Does he release this evil or does he leave it sealed within his tome forever? As long as he remains here the way is sealed and this thing will never...

Omadon drops his book. The door is opening?! Kaieka opened the doors! But the seals are broken then...!

The chains holding Bassarob shatter.

"Kaieka, what have you let loose on this world?" Hisses Omadon as he backs away from the demon.

[Dionysus]

"My name is not of great matter right now o'Hunter. We must away before they find us. Quickly, I believe that your Angelic ally still holds the gates open."

The armored man helps Peter stand and they move on. He seems to know where he's going.

[Louhi]

Louhi looks around the room once more before saying, "Very well, I will do this. It may keep things interesting at least."

She then dissapears, teleporting to Beijing. She is in Lady Violet's office. The goddess regards her coolly.

"I have come to advise you Violet. The world is changing, and you have decisions to make."

[Peter "The Owl"]

Peter is confused but he has no other option but to carry on. "The Chi-kage Kegai are holding the portal. Are we the last? Where's Virgil? What about the others? The Vampire, the Dragon? What was that thing that killed me?"

[LIF High Council]

"The Archbishop is dead!"

"Dead? How?!"

"We don't know but we know he's dead. We have his head and most of his body. There was enough blood around him for a dozen men so he must have fought back."

"But how!?"

"All his guards are in Russia, evaking the rebels."

"God d**n it!"

"Apparently he did."

"This is impossible!"

"Calm yourself. It has become apparent that things are becoming worse. We all know this was coming."

"But so soon..."

"I know. We have little options. You know what we must..."

"NO! I refuse!"

"We have no choice! We must ally ourselves with the Rebels!"

"I will not surrender out prime directive."

"Nor I!"

"Then you will die! We can't fight this alone! Facts are facts, Infinity must fall."

"No, I say we work with the Immortals."

"Herecy! I will not stand and listen to this!"

"Then we have reached a parting of the ways gentlemen."

"It would seem..."

"Then good day. Perhaps we will meet when this is over."

"You'll never survive."

"We shall see."

[Dionysus]

"Yes Peter, we're all that remains of your defense. Virgil is dead. The others are still back there, hopefully being held by the goddess. As for what she is... she's evil, leave it at that for now."

[Gregory: The Storm Raven]

Gregory waits in silence, his wings fluttering slightly. He's on edge. Things feel bad. Suddenly his breath leaves him.

He knows. Knows the second it happens. He can feel his world reel in pain. "Oh nuts," he whispers, "That's not good."

Suddenly two people emerge from the woods. The first is one of the Hunters he spoke with earlier. The other is new. And shiny.

"Are you it? Come on then! Some serious crap is going down, time to go."

[Peter "The Owl"]

Peter pushes away from the figure, he can walk on his own. There is nothing physcially wrong with him now. There's the portal keeper. Their almost there.

"Then we must reassimble. LIF will not..." Peter touches his glasses. "No..." he whispers. This... can... not... be!

And yet it is.

"LIF... is dead."
