The Struggle of Ages

[Louhi]

Louhi looks down upon Keitoleinen, and scoffs. "Are you still trying to pass off those weak plagues of yours as power, Keitoleinen? Do these people think you powerful? How mistaken they are. They do not know the meaning of powerful. I will show them, though..."

Louhi smiles, an evil laugh ripping through the air. It is loud and the ground shakes at the sound. People engaged in battle are frozen in terror and look at the source of such darkness.

She points a long, slender finger at Keitoleinen. "Disintigrate!"

The "powerful" god is turned to a heap of dust. The great and mighty Keitoleinen is no more. She laughs again.

"You maggots! You thought him powerful? How mistaken you have been. You will tremble at true power!"#nosmileys

[Aristarchus]

I see Keitoleinen, the beast god of destruction reduced to ash in a second.

-"You don't stand a chance, none of you!! The world is hers...."

-I circle above her. I bathe in her familiar darkness,

-I glide over to Ambrosia.

-"There is nothing that you or anyone can do now...this is the end...."

-I swoop down and land behind her.

-I bow my head.

-"My creator, mother, I am here to serve you..."

[Peter "The Owl"]

The knifes strike Peter's light sheild and fly away without harm. He locks his hands and propares to chant when suddenly they are back in the city.

Above them is something to horrible, and yet so beautiful it takes all Peter's will power not to fell to his knees in worship of the goddess.

He breaths in latin, his voice below a whisper as he begins the prayers of death, "Oh God, receive my soul into your heavens and let me find my eternal rest."

The part of his mind that has been worked to ignore such things screams for him to act, to fight, to run, to do something. Peter is bearly able to move but he knows what he must be.

Virgil is dead, the ultimate evil is above him. Salavation is not readily available.

"I wish it were the mind flayers, young Sazumi!" we rush through the hall. I see Kaschei. He is holding the black egg of Louhi. In my studies I have heard of this artifact...don't tell me....she has returned....the greatest Goddess of all.....

standing alone in a dark room, beatles finds himself lost. where am i? he sits down to ponder these questions

[Louhi]

Louhi's attention is caught by a man kneeling in prayer. She hovers above him, sneering.

"You pray to a dead god, the only afterlife you know will be horrible and painful, I will see to that. Fool!"

She reaches out her hand, the long, white fingers moving only slightly as she calls forth the man's power. She drains his life, feeding it into herself. Her eyes glint maliciously.

She returns to her vantage point, high above the pathetic "fighters", leaving his body lying on the street. He is a doll, an empty husk, laid out for the trash collectors. This is too easy.

"Are these your fighters? Your strongest? You are all pathetic, I should kill you all now. Can you not see my supreme power?"

She laughs again, sending any remaining walls crumbling to their foundations. #nosmileys

[Ambrosia]

Ambrosia snaps at Aries,

"Evidently you weren't around when the battles between your kind were fought."

She landed, and changed back into a human. Grasping the sword at her side, she prepares to draw it, aware that it would be futile.

[Ukko]

"Sorry Lin-Sat, but it is time for me to act..."
Ukko teleports himself Helsinki to stand beside the only being whose power rivals his own. He scrapes the remains of Kietoleinen into his pocket. The god of destruction can be revived.

"Louhi, you have returned." Ukko does not bow. He stands there, and stares into her eyes.

"But this planet is mine. Unless you want to fight me for it here and now, you will obey the will of Red Infinity...."

Ukko is powerful in his own right. He knows that Louhi is weak. He knows he can win.

[KitsuneHime]

Suzumi glanced at Darith in terror, and gulped.

"You mean there's something worse than Mind Flayers?!"

Glimpsing Kaschei, she frowned. What was he clutching? It looked...like a toy.

[Dionysus]

A figure in golden armor slowly walks across the ruined city floor. A gleming cape of purest white hangs from his back. Surely he is the brightest star ever to stand on the earth.

And yet he goes unnoticed by the great beings assimbled here. But not for long, he must act quickly. Kneeling by the body of the drained Hunter he lifts the man to his shoulder, "On my my friend, you have no place here."

Carrying the man with him the armored figure moves quickly out of the city and into the wilds.

[Louhi]

Louhi turns, regarding Ukko.

"Ah yes, Ukko. It has been awhile. No, I will not fight you for this planet. I see that its inhabitants are weak, too weak for me to waste my time battling over. Besides, I know that you are a strong fighter from fighting by your side, that is... when you aren't running away." She smiles, that same cold smile, her eyes remain joyless.

"But yes, this planet is yours, I would not imagine taking it away from you. I just wanted to put a little fear into the hearts of mankind. They seem to have lost their respect for our kind."

In her mind, Louhi despises Ukko. The coward left during their last battle, leaving her to be imprisoned for this long time. It is good to have him as an ally now. They will finally be able to defeat Jumala Mythysta. Once she is back to her full power though, she will destroy him, once and for all.

[Peter "The Owl"]

Peter is dead. He knows the feeling, he's been dead before. But this time it feels different.

Heavier. His eyes are open but there is not light. His mind wander the blackness he has come to know well.

I'm dead... deader than normal... did I go the distance this time then... this doesn't feel like heaven though...

I wonder if I can see Chastity again... just... just one more... one more time...

Just one...

[Ukko]

"It appears the battle is over."

Ukko glances around at the cassualites and the destruction.

"It is good to see you back. Together, we will finally crush Jumala Mythysta and his gods of good. Then, the universe will be ours."

Ukko has no intention of sharing. When all is said and done, both will fight to decide the final victor.

"I must return to my post. You should do the same. This is the first battle in what will be.....the final war of the gods....."

Ukko teleports to Beijing. He brushes back Lin-Sat and goes to his office, where he can work to revive Kietoleinen.

[Dionysus]

The figure kneels laying Peter down. He lays him in the grass and stands, looking around. No one for miles hopefully.

"Come on now kid, I know you can get over this. Their going to need you for this."

[Kazenara Miyajima]

Kaze stared at the destruction feeling helpless, and alone. Was she the only human alive? What were all the beings and why were they all fighting.
She felt a hand touch her shoulder, she turned to see Ben standing there. He knelt down and expressed the same sadness that she felt.
"Don't worry you aren't the only one left," Ben whispered as he gazed at the scene.
Kaze tried to feel happy, but she still felt alone.
"We can't do anything," Kaze wimpered.
