"I'm Elbereth. You may call me BlackRose if you want. I wanted to see who would be swiming in such a cold lake."I say. I put my arm behide my back,it was still bleeding.

Clearly she is bored by me. Time to excite her. I know, I will wow her with my international stamp collection. I pull a blue album out of my bag. "Looking for some excitement, check this out. 3000 international stamps. I'll point out my favorites." I point at a Hippo stamp from Rwanda and a stamp of a porceline tea cup from Sweden.

[Swan of Tounela]

"Hello Elbereth, I am the Swan of Tounela. You should do something about your wound, it is unsightly." I look in the direction of the cottage, wondering if the others are awake yet.

[Elbereth BlackRose]

"It is nice to meet you Swan and I thank you for your concern,but it is fine.It will heal in a while."I say.

[Kaieka]

This just keeps getting better and better. I take the blue album from him and start paging through it.

"This is... uh... interesting. It looks like you have spent a lot of time on this."

[Fascia]

Kith seems to have gotten in a bit of a better mood.

"Yes, I would love to take dancing lessons with you. I cannot be out all night, since I have a child and other things to attend to, but I am up for a new hobby."

"So what brings you to this area, Elbereth?" I want to know if she is involved with Red Infinity or the infernal gods of evil.

[Elbereth BlackRose]

"I mostly live in the forest.I just wander around the forest and some times go into the city."I say plainly.

"Yes, collecting stamps gives me a thrill. Especially when I find a rare one. I can not imagine anything better than finding a rare stamp. I bet even sex pales in comparison to it." I show her another stamp, this one of a native mask of Papau New Guinea. And then another stamp, a stamp from Argetina of Evita Peron! I tremble with excitement as I show her the best stamp of all...the lunar landing!! I take a deep breath and wipe the sweat off of my forehead. "Sorry, I really get into it."

"I see then, and what are you? You do not have the energy of a human, so I doubt you are one of those." I start walking back to the cottage.

"I'm a Ice Maiden. Now a almost dead race...mind if I come with you?"I ask. It could get so boring in the woods alone...

I have to laugh as he talks. Great! Out of all of the people on this planet, I get stuck with a virgin, stamp collecting book-worm.

I look at the stamps. They do nothing for me. I have never really used the postal system, and do not really care for the postage. However, some of them are pretty.

I lean in close to Darith, smiling as I do so.

"You know, you really ought to give sex a try sometime, it might pleasantly surprize you."

I wink and laugh and hand his book back to him.

Well, he isn't very exciting, but he sure is good for a laugh.

"Sure, you may join me. There are over a dozen other people staying there, so I hope you don't mind people. I have gotten used to it, and I hate all mortals. So, you should do fine." We enter the cottage and some people are stirring. "Everyone, this is Elbereth...."

Peter looks over at the door and blinks. "Chastity? Hello... um..." He straightens, and smiles, "What a nice suprise. What're you doing here? I didn't think you'd have any reason to come to the university. Looking for a book?"

"oh..."I now regerted coming with Swan.I look at the ground and slightly take a step back."You all may call me BlackRose if you want..."I say still looking at the ground.
