((Here you may learn fundamental roleplaying techniques and what is and is not acceptable in a roleplay.))
Zalgar's Dojo is a huge structure, nobody really knows how large it is because it's shape seems to change. There are but a few things about the dojo that remain constant.
All powers besides Zalgar's do not function. The surpressive effect is as strong as that within the Ministry of Terror.
All characters who enter the dojo find themselves stripped of all weaponry. Said weaponry mysteriously returns after they leave the area.
All characters find any enhancements they have function as their normal, flesh-and-blood counterparts would.
Any character who attempts to slay or harm another character (outside of the normal training excercises of course) find themselves suddenly teleported into the Ministry of Terror. No exceptions.
Time does not move within the dojo for those inside. Thus no matter how long you've spent in the dojo, not even a second has truly passed. This allows you to continue to post in the main thread while posting in the dojo.

Wouldn't teaching people how to fight better in the normal thread be easier if they are allowed to learn to use their powers properly? Blocking powers seems counterproductive, as only a few players and places have blocking fields.

Remember that I can change the functions of the dojo at will, and I can remove those effects. Those constant effects are for those who step across the threshold. Different battle arenas will have different effects depending on the type of training desired/deemed necessary by the student in question.

Who is this? If this is a n00b, no one is going to take you seriously. It doesn't matter if you're good or not, no one will care. However, if you're an admin or mod, you might want to tell us which one you are so that people will listen to you.

I am a mod, of that you may be certain. I'll not say anymore here on the subject. This is an officially sanctioned extension of Red Infinity which Bassarov has personally given his blessing for.

*rolls eyes* come on mat... surely you can tell wh that is... i mean god, he only has about 10 characters, each of which find a way to get on my nerves easily... well all except one that is..., and for some reason, i think he lets someone else play that character sometimes.
if you want people to actually Rp properly, you have to learn how yourself. your making nothing more then human, and since you can use your full stregnth power, ect... then you could just hit them once and they would lose. there is no point in this

Matsumura, Riku, this is for training. Shut up and get out. Post complaints in the complaint section.

((Hey Peter, I'm not complaining. I just wanted to make sure this wasn't some raving n00b trying to act cool. Cuz I don't like raving n00bs, sorry))
Matsumura appears outside of the dojo. He enters the dojo with caution. He looks around to see if he can find traces of civilization.
"Hello, is anyone there?" asks Matsumura. Suddenly he feels powerless and his sword disappears.
"What the hell?! What is the meaning of this!?"

"So, you are the first student. Welcome to my dojo, what can I do for you?"

"I am Matsumura Loki XXXVIII, the Angel of Death. I am here to train and be stronger. My motives are my own business, but you know that. I want to be your first full-fledged student. I want to unlock all of my potential so that I can eliminate my foes. Is that good enough?" asks Matsumura as he bows lightly, keeping his eyes on Zalgar.

"It doesn't matter. I'll teach anyone who shows up, it will relieve the tedium of my existence. What kind of training do you want? I can mold this dojo into any specifications you want."

"Let's start with some weapons training. My weapon is the sword."

"Take whichever one suits your fancy." I say as a massive rack materializes on the wall next to him containing every sword known to man. "With or without powers?"

"No powers..... this one is pure sword skills," says Matsumura. He skims through the rack until he finds one sword that catches his fancy. He reads, "To my brother Buck, the only man I ever loved."
"A Kill Bill fan?" asks Matsumura. Matsumura looks at the sword next to it and finds the Bride's Hanzo sword.
"The beautiful thing about Kill Bill is that they used real swords.... beautiful swords. Sure, they weren't really made by Hattori Hanzo, but there's a simple reason for that. Hattoriz Hanzo didn't make swords. He lived in the 14th century as a shinobi ninja assassin. He was believed to have been involved in the assassination of Shingen Takeda..... one of the only true warriors. His battle etiquette was outstanding," says Matsumura. He draws the bride's Hanzo sword and readies himself in stance.

I smile faintly, as a a curved scimitar appears in my hands.
"I'm also something of a... collector." I say as I extend my hand and hold the scimitar high above my head.
