Andrew stops twisting suddenly, and twists with the pole, flipping around to keep from letting go. Then, he pulls forward so Zalgar is closer, side kicks Zalgar, and brings his cane around from the other side to hit Zalgar. The cane is aimed lower than his kick, so that if Zalgar ducks, Andrew will not hit himself. The cane makes a whipping noise as it is brought through the air with force.

I duck under the pole and pull it behind me, slamming it against the ground as hard as I can.

"Hmmm. Ok then, let's cut right to the big guns. No use sword slashing back and forth when it leads to nothing."
Matsumura's eyes close and he puts his hands together in prayer. An egg composed of dark matter appears hovering over him. Out of it hatch 12 dark soldiers. Matsumura points his sword at Zalgar and the creatures charge in and pounce.

A blast of light energy emerges from my outstretched palm, and beams of light fly out, striking the soldiers until they are destroyed.
"Weak." I spit.

"Hmmm, pathetic grunts."
Matsumura closes his eyes and the ground begins to quake beneath Zalgar. A bolt of black lightning rises from beneath the earth and heads for Zalgar.

I vanish and appear behind Matsumura, unleashing an iaijutsu strike at his exposed back, the katana whipping from its sheathe at an extraorinary speed.

Matsumura spins around and catches the blade with his right hand. It gets cut a little, but not enough to really impair him. Matsumura holds out his left hand and shoots a blast at Zalgar at point blank.

((I've explained it to Brady, I'm sure he'll pass it along. Also, Zalgar's speed, plus his teleportation, which is instantaneous. I would not at all complain if you used teleportation to dodge lightning, it's a viable move. Kinda like how you just caught Zalgar's katana which is a pretty d**n powerful weapon.))
The shot blasts me across the room. I hiss and lick my lips, tasting the blood. I feel my chest where the hole is.
"Not bad. You've quite an arsenal."
I drop my daisho and it vanishes.
"Now then, let's get this show on the road."
I unleash a wave of inky, impenetrable darkness that engulfs the entire arena, blocking both Matsumura and my own sight.

i lash my sword at the fire it begins to be abosrbed by my sword as this happens this massive amount of flame builds in to a 10 foot flame sword.

A tornado emerges from the ground, catching the fire blade and engulfing Vivi in a whirling tornado.

Heaven-lee quickly turned her face away and attempted to grab at the hand and pull him towards her so she could knee him in the gut.

As Heaven-Lee grasps my hand I lash out with my other hand, going for her gut and simultaneously twisting my arm around so as to throw her off balance and knock her away with my fist.
