my grip tightens on the phone an i frown, getting slightly angry that she'd even ask that. ... look, i will not betray my friends. yes... you did allow me to stay in your house...., but to be honest, you didnt need to... i have a place to stay in helsinki.... and i didnt really use anything in your house... . i look over at hikaris door. ... there is nothing that i need, or something that i want and cant get myself.... *except suzumi....*. i shake my head and sigh. .... the only reason i am staying here is to protect hikari while your at work so you wouldnt be distracted....

I wearily lean against the door frame.
"Red Infinity is after me." I say numbly. "They want the power of the other me."
I shake my head.

I wearily hang up the phone and look at young Chao. He seems eager to take on more responsibility but he is still very young.
I also need to talk to Ashen. I will not have him purged from the party, unless Lin-Sat orders that. I will talk to him though. Privately.
I look at Chao.
"Chao, here is your first mission, I wish for you to deliver a letter to an operative named Ashen. He is a scholar who you will find in Helsinki."
I hand him the note which reads:
Dear Ashen,
It was reported to me that you did not follow orders. I could have you arrested for such actions, but have chosen not to. Since you have worked with Fei more than others in Red Infinity, you may keep your job with us as long as you send us reports on Id and his progress/potential threat to the world. As long as you control this threat, I will still deem you a loyal member of Red Infinity. And, if you deny this proposition, you will be forcibly removed from the party.
Good luck with your decision.

I seal the letter and hand it to Chao. Maybe Ashen can still work for us. He can just work for us in secret, making sure Fei does not disrupt society or threated Red Infinity. That is my hope anyway.

Bassarov considers the situation, he would fight, but, would it be enough.
"This does thrust us into a dangerous situation. But I assure you, you are not the only one here who is wanted by Red Infinity."

i sigh and hang up. ... yea... bye to you too... . i look at hikari's door again. *i would only join them if i absolutely have to.... they tried to have me killed... they should be lucky that i am so merciful and havent tried to take them down yet*. i sigh and sit on the couch. ... now what... hikari is sleeping... as is set... . i look over at the other room. ... richie might as well be sleeping.... i guess being locked up is better then being eaten alive... i lean back and close my eyes. *..... i wont do anything against the rebels.... especially since they were the only ones who were nice to me... .other then violet... if only suzumi didnt disappear....* i shake my head and lay down. ... snap out of it, she is gone because of you.... she never liked you.... .

The resonance had hit him merely minutes before... a similarity he hadn't felt in years. Finally, his search was near completion.

My eyes suddenly snap open. For just a moment, the image of Id seems to appear over me, but it is gone so fast that it is uncertain whether it was truly there at all.
"Wha... what was that?" I ask, confused.

The mech suddenly halts. Grahf leans forward.
"Its resonating... He's here now..."
The lighting in the thingypit dims and brightens for a second, then Grahf is gone. He materializes on top of a wall, peering down at Fei, outside of probable view.
We meet again...

((This somehow has to relate to the poltiics. Are different political groups building gears so they are better able to fight for their political goals. Well, this is what I would prefer since I DO want this to relate to politics.))

Bassarov thinks about Fei and his gear. He wonders for a moment where that technology is coming from. Are different political groups now working to create more powerful weapons.
No wonder Red Infinity wants Fei! Maybe they too are interested in such technology.
If that is so, who else has this technology? That anarchists? The Green Party?
Bassarov is stunned by the realization that he was somehow in the dark about some secret political goings on.
