((Yeah, hey, before I go to sleep, Stalin/Huey, you must have an affiliation and stick with it, unless you get admin permission..))

"I can't believe I didn't see this sooner." Stalin said to himself as Huey led him to Bassarov's apartment.
Stalin had been trying to get on the good side of Erika Faust so that he could, in turn, gain access to Iris/Iras. (people have been spelling it differently and I don't know which is right.) The key flaw was that in his attempt to gain power by manipulating/tampering with the Little Sister was that his thoughts would be read too. Little Sister was far too dangerous to be allowed to finish. They needed to stop it...
(They are sticking to Red Infinity. The thing is, Stalin is power hungry... no duh, right? Anyway, the two are just nervous that Little Sister will find out Stalin's plot. Huey is allied with Stalin so he is in danger too. It is only in this instance that Huey and Stalin's goals seem the same as the Rebels. But, just to make this legal, I'll ask permission from Zero. Well, is it ok Zero?)

Lena stares at the necklaces in awe for a moment. "I have said this before, and will say it again. You are very kind. I would like to learn how to read better very much, thank you. I suppose I'll stay with you for the time being, then. Besides, I've never seen a farm, it'd be nice to see what one looks like."
She says, smiling. "What are all those necklaces for?" She asks curiously, looking back at the necklaces.

When Bassarov fails to figure out what it was he was supposed to do, he goes back to his room to write out all of his rants against the democratic socialist movement.

Huey rushes to Bassarov's apartment and pounds on the door, Stalin at his side. He didn't care what Bassarov's reaction was, this was an emergency.
"Bassarov? You home? Open up, it's me, Huey." he said in a rushed and semi-frightened tone.

"Here." I set down two photographs, one of the infant, one of the adult Iris wearing hospital clothes. "I didn't think it possible, but she means as much to me as Mitya. She is my own blood."

Bassarov hears that someone is at his door so he leaves his writing to check it out. "Hey Huey, didn't expect to see you so soon. What brings you here?"

"She really is pretty. She looks similar to you, but with dark hair."
I look up at Erika.
"And don't worry, you will be able to see both her and Mitya whenever you like, so long as it does not interupt their work."

"Hey Bassarov. We have a real problem. Oh--Stalin, meet Bassarov. Bassarov, Stalin." Huey said, letting himself in and placing some files on Little Sister on the table.

"Oh, these? Protective devices." He spreads the necklaces out and points out each of them one by one. "Each of these crosses is blessed but their also enchanted to help repell different dark creatures. One for demons, one for the undead, and one specifically for vampires. Both penticales help to repell evil spirits and energies, keeping my own clearer. The gem is a charm that defends against echantments. I was always being laughed at in college for wearing so many charms."
Peter raises his arm and pulls up the sleeve on his coat. He has more charms on his wrists. Each hand even has a very intricate tatoo of a magical circle on it, circling his wrists.
"Funny thing is that I ended up being right." Peter sighs suddenly, his thoughts returning to why he wears these things. "That's... that's part of the reason why I'm afraid of the night. Of the dark. Because I know exactly what's out there..." He picks up one of the crosses and closes his eyes. He says something in latin softly and finishes with a whispered "Amen."

"I already know about that one. Erika has been staying with us. She recently moved in with Zero. I have been so busy with Satsujin that I haven'thad time to even think about Little Sister." Bassarov picks up the folder but it is nothing new to him. He talked about Little Sister with Zero weeks ago. He isn't sure what he can do about the situation.

"Zdrastvutcha, kak dela?" Bassarov says to Stalin. He is a little uncomfortable that the man who killed so many people is now in his living room.

"Then you know what'll happen if this thing goes online. Not only will all your plans be known in advance by Red Infinity, but your most personal thoughts. They'll read your mind! Not only that, but Stalin and I will be executed. Stalin for plotting to take over and myself for connections with the Rebels.
"It's in our best interests to figure out what to do about it. I have the information, you have the manpower. We need to find a way to stop this thing from goin' online." Huey said, gesturing to the schematics and read outs. He hoped to high heaven that Violet or someone equally powerful didn't figure out he was here.
