I am familiar with Beijing, since I grew up here. It brings back bad memories. I don't stand out at least. I search the city for any sign of Cephrien. Only he can tell me what happened to Leon.

I sit up in my office and look out the window. It is starting to snow. The snow puts me into a trance. I watch it, falling...falling...falling.
I imagine my own death. My own cold sleep. And waking here in this time and place.

Ceph walked out of his room and strolled to Lady Violet's room. He smiled and knocked on her door, waiting patiently for her to answer.

Damascus heard the phone ring, picked it up, and listened to what Lady Violet had to say. He might be able to ask her a few questions at her office, but not all of the ones he wanted to ask. To many people came to see Violet for him to actually have a drawn out conversation with her, so a short one wqas in order.
"Sure, I'll stop by some time." Was all he said, then he hung up the phone.
He put on his shoes, look at himself in the mirror, decided he looked good enough, and opened the door. Off to the International HQ. He decided that it wasn't so long that he needed to fly, so he decided that he would walk. WAlking was good for your health. He smiled to himself when he thought that. Being a dragon was good for you health too. He chuckled at an old joke that that thought resurfaced and set a moderate pace. He wasn't worried about time, so there was no need to hurry. He was finally going to get some answers.

Adrew's body dissolves completely into water, and melds with the water filling the apartment, which is now about two feet deep.

Ceph closed his eyes and grinned. "Well.. heh. you see the funny thing is.... i was going to give this to you tommorow.. but tommorow is Christmas.." He said, laughing abit.

Lena feels a stab at her heart at the sight of her aunt almost crying. Elbereth never cried, or looked this sad. Lena frowns. "Peter.. maybe she is telling the truth. I know I felt scared of her before, but it was probably just from all of the recent events. I think I should at least give her a chance."
She says, standing and placing a hand on Peter's arm and looking at him. "Everyone deserves a chance, the Godless are just doing their jobs. They may believe in Red Infinity laws, and so that is why they enforce them. Through I find those laws wrong, others don't. It is wrong what they do through." She says, looking back toward Elbereth.
"Are you all right? Peter, I know you don't trust her at all, but I wish to give her a chance. I loved her, she is my aunt. Please calm down.."
