"That was another operative, I had nothing to do with that kill. Who says I'm taking her to them? She's my niece, i love her for goodness sakes!"

Elbereth shouts back

"Lena, don't listen to him.. You hardly know him!"

[Cephrien]

Ceph soared high across the sky at a jet-like speed.
He stared down at the City of Russia, searching for any signs of Peter.

[Lena]

Lena sits down, putting her hands over her face. It was just too much. Learning everything she knew and love was gone, her aunt claiming to come to help her, Peter claiming Elbereth to be a killer.. She takes a deep breath and stands again.

"Elbereth, I hardly know you either. Since it's been years since you've seen me. You seem like an entirely different person. Your eyes.. they are filled with hurt, anger, and sadness.. They used to seem so happy. Elbereth, I can't even begin to imagine the pain you must've gone through, but working for someone who imprisons people for their believes is not a way to deal with your problems.

You like to see others in pain, to ease your own. You've chosen a bad path.. I know that's why you do what you do, because.. it's the same reason why I always try to help people. I don't face my problems, so I help people with their own, hoping mine will go away too.

But, Elbereth, it doesn't work that way.. It just doesn't.."

[Peter "The Owl"]

Peter regains control over himself and stops trembling, his anger dying away into saddness, as it always does. He opens his hands, the last few beads falling out of his hand when he does. "I don't want to fight..."

[Elbereth BlackRose]

Elbereth stares at Lena.. No, she was wrong! But the truth was, that she wasn't. Elbereth crosses her arms and stays silent for a few moments.

"Lena, will you come back to my house with me, or stay with Peter? It's your choice.."

She says before looking toward the ground. Of course, she couldn't back out from this plan..

But she also was no match for Peter, unless.. she could use Lena. He wouldn't go through Lena, to get to her, would he? After all, he would be fighting to protect Lena..

[Cephrien]

Ceph stopped flying and began to fall, fullspeed to the ground. He did a few frontflips before landing on the ground, making a loud Tapping sound. He begins to walk around, in search for Peter.

[Lena]

"You won't have to fight.." Lena says, looking at the beads on the floor. Through she sounded sure of it, she really wasn't. She is unsure what to do. She did trust her aunt a bit, but she wasn't sure. If she made the wrong choice, it could cost her life, or it could take her to see her sister.

"I want to stay with Peter.. at least until he finds Hope. Then, I'll go with you, but could you just leave me the address of your house? I'm not sure it's a good idea if you tag along.." She could feel the tension in the compartment as she looked up at Elbereth, and then to Peter.

Oh, please goddess, don't let this whole ordeal blow up.. She didn't want to have to try to stop a fight.

[Sayuka]

I am getting pretty fed up with Tsubaki. I swim over to Zero trying to figure out a way through the invisible barrier that is holding the water in place.

My head bobs under the water and I do my best to stay afloat.

Peter turns to face Lena. "Lena... thank you. Look... when this is all over, I'd like to return the favor. Once we find Hope and work out what to do next, I want to help you with your problems. I'm sure there's something that can be done."

[Elbereth BlackRose]

Elbereth sighs.

"I really hoped you would've said you'd come with me.. All right, when we finally get to Russia I'll give you my address and the booth number.

How much longer should that be, any way? Pretty soon, no?"

She says, falling back down on the bench, crossing her legs and glacing out the window as if nothing big had happened at all.

She, of course, had no intention of doing that through. She glaces at Peter, a slight glare.

I walk around Amsterdam looking for the anarchist base. I have a rough idea of where it is, but I just am not sure which of the houses is theirs.

I don't mind being a man. I am taller for one thing. It is easier to pick up women. I have a love hate relationship with this body.

Back when I was a woman all the time, I liked men. All of these bitter sentiments are mostly new to me. I guess I am still learning and growing. Maybe sexuality is some fluid thing. Maybe gender is fluid too.

There is a lot more to gender than just parts.

I walk through Amsterdam trying to find this place. I hope I find the anarchists before I turn back into a woman. My woman side is not an anarchist.

[Cephrien]

Ceph narrowed his eyes as he stared around the whole area. "Darn.. he doesn't seem to be here..." He muttered to himself. He slowly floated into the air, and began to calmly fly over the city, taking one last look before he decided to fly away and go somewhere else.

[Anna Khodorkovsky]

I heard that Lady Blue was back in Capital City so I decide to give her a call on the ship. I get her answering machine.
"Hi, this is Anna. I just wanted to see how the coal deal went. We should hang out sometime. Bye."

[Lena]

Lena lets out a sigh of relief as she also sits back done. She looks at Peter with a smile. "I'm not sure I'm ready to tell anyone about my problems.. They're kind of hard to explain.. but thank you." She looks toward Elbereth with the same smile.

"I'm happy you understand, I knew you would. Well.. I hoped you would." She then looks at all the beads on the floor, and decides to pick up the mess. She didn't want to leave the train with all these beads laying in the compartment. She slides off the bench, leaning down and beginning to pick up the beads from the floor with her right hand, collecting them in her left.

(I may be able to stick around for one more post before I have to go. I won't be on tomarrow, but if I am, it'll be very later if at all.)

Peter looks down and looks embarresed. He kneels down and starts to help Lena gather the beads. "Thanks, Lena. Sorry about that. I... I don't like being angry."
