"It's all right, everyone gets mad once in a while. It's just another way to tell we are living.." Lena says with another smile. "Um, is there a trash can in here to throw the beads away in?" She asks, knowing at least what a trash can was as she continues to pick up the beads with Peter.
(Goodnight.)

I get bored trying to find Soren. He is immature anyway. I decide instead that I will look for Septimus. He seems interesting. I am tired of not having anyone to talk to.

"No, just give them back to me." Peter takes the beads from Lena, putting them into one of his pockets. "The bead chain used to belong to a friend of mine. I'll fix it. It's all I have left of her."

Cephrien leaves to find Peter and I am left alone in my office again. I examine the necklace that he made for me. It is well made and I can tell that he put a lot of work into it. It makes me happy that operatives care about me. I think this job would be nearly impossible at times if not for the little things like this.

I spend the afternoon looking for work in Helsinki. It is hard being a rebel, since Red Infinity controls the economy. It is impossible to find a job when you are not a party supporter.
When me feet are tired and blistered from all the walking, I decide that I won't find work in Helsinki. I will have to go back to Capital City.
Capital City, as the name might suggest, is home to many left over capitalists. Maybe I can find a job working for one of them. They don't like to do their own cleaning anyway.
I pack my things and teleport to Capital City.

"Whoah, Hope is so impossible to find. And Moscow sure is big." I this it is kind of scary here. I don't like it at all. I start checking hotels to see if I can find Hope.

I start looking around Capital City. I wonder who I can work for. I know that housekeeping may seem demeaning, but I don't mind that kind of work. I once worked in a factory just for the experience. It builds solidarity with everyday people. It will be good for me. I don't want to turn into some armchair intellectual.
I walk through the city. I know that the FRA has some operatives here. Maybe I could work for them. I doubt they would know who I am. I am not THAT well known.
Anyway, I doubt they would care. As long as I am willing to do the work they ask me to, I doubt it matters what my politics are.
I am sure that Sasha might argue with me about working for a capitalist. But we don't have much money, jobs are hard to find, and I want to buy that printing press for Zinn.

I start asking people in the city if they know who Cephrien is. I eventually find someone who says that he lives in an apartment building not far from where I was looking. What great luck!
I make my way to the apartment building with the hope that Cephrien is home and that he can tell me what happened to Leon.

I have been hiding out in my apartment for a few days now. I will ask them again. I put on my long black trenchcoat and teleport to Beijing.
+++++++++
I walk to the International HQ and take the elevator to Lin-Sat's office.
I knock on the door carefully.
He is the only one who can redeem me.
++++++++++++
I wait for Lin-Sat to answer. I will beg for my job back. I doubt Lin-Sat will care. Maybe I will be put into prison.
I don't care any more.

I have been neglecting my poor little fairy friend, Cathie Magnesa, but work has been busy. This time of year is busy for the league of the Godless.
-I leave our headquarters and turn into a dragon.
-Tonight I will look for Christians who are intent on celebrating Christmas. They will make a nice snack.
-I fly low looking for lighted trees through the windows of homes.

I need to prove to Surma that I care. But how do I do that? I don't care about them as much as Hope or Lemminkainen. I decide that I will try to find Lemminkainen and ask the guy advice. I take the bus out of Helsinki and slowly make my way to Russia.

Pierre checks his email once he gets home from school. He sees that Wyrm emailed him and he is very excited. He responds right away. "Wyrm, I agree with you. I think that anarchists should set up their own communes first and show everyone how well they work. When people see how great our lifestyle is, they might join us, or make their own communes. Anyway, I am a non violent reformist anarchist. Great to finally talk to another anarchist! -Pierre

I enter the apartment with Kelthassil. I see that Tsubaki is making a mess of things. I frown and walk past the water walls containing the rebels.
"We can take it from here Tsubaki. You have done enough work."
I turn to Kelthassil. I would like to kill that hag, Tsubaki and never have to put up with her again.

Post by Korbinian Kautsky on Dec 25, 2004 2:06:58 GMT -5
Kautsky's crow reports to him the events that have been taking place in Helsinki. The crow first tells him that some people are interested in joining the democratic socialist movement. Those who are interested are Andrew Kasher, Elijah Debs, and Xavier Jaures.
He sends a letter to these young men who are interested in democratic socialism.
"Dear rebel friends, I am glad that you have taken an interest in the democratic socialist movement. Now, you may wonder what our role in the current world would be. What would we work for if not for socialist revolution?
I can answer this simply. Red Infinity is in our socialist family. Think of them as a sick relative who needs help. If we can work to reform this system, there are some worthwhile elements from it which may be salvaged. The goal should be democratization, which, as I understand it, there has already been such a call from within their own ranks. Reforming Red Infinity, as daunting as it sounds, may not be. In the past, they have treated reformers with more tolerance than revolutionaries. The key here is to accentuate our common beliefs and interests, while at the same time showing them through our actions that we want to work with them, and not against them.
I would also like to mention that a goal of the democratic socialist movement would be to seek alliance with the FRA. Capitalism, as vile as it seems, can be watered down to the degree that it is no longer as oppressing to the majority. We have seen in history, many examples of free market socialist countries which enjoyed both democracy and a high degree of economic equality. For instance, few can argue that Sweden, Norway, Finland, or Denmark of the 21st century were unpleasant places to live. Rather, the success of democratic socialism proves that socialism and capitalism can coexist together quite well.
I will contact you again soon, but I must now report to work. I am at a labor camp you see. Please feel free to ask me any questions you might have concerning my politics or the democratic socialist movement.
Truly yours Korbinian Kautsky.
Kautsky sends the letter to each of the socialists who were interested in his movement.

Elijah is caught behind the massive water wall. He considers what Andrew said. That was a valid thing to point out. "You're right Andrew, this sure isn't 1900. We can't really vote democratic socialists into power when we can't even vote. But maybe there are ways to reform Red Infinity. Another revolution would be a lot of work." Elijah looks to Zero and Sayuka. He doesn't like to get wet. It makes his feathers smell bad if they don't dry properly. It also makes his wavy brown hair frizzy. He doesn't complain, since he doesn't want Andrew to know that he does not like to get wet. It might stress his already stressed friendship with the water nymph.
