Dante, instead of going straight back to the L.I.F.'s Berlin base, decided that he would take a long walk, having been cooped up so long. First, he'd been depressed for a long time, then he'd gone and taken out his aggressions by running through the various training programs that the L.I.F. used with recruits. He'd relearned everything he needed to know, from proper respect due to the higher ranks, going through facing and baring, all the way back to various demons' anatomy. Right now, he was in Helsinki. He'd been here once before, as far as he could remember, and that had been were him a Cassinda had first kissed, and he'd been assigned his role as boyfriend. One of the other forms of training he had gone through had been learning about modern terms and getting caught up with the modern world. He better understood the role that been assigned him, and he thought that he had been doing a wonderful job, until he came to the part were he'd been honest with himself and Cassinda. The first rule women usually set was to be honest and truthful, but women were hipacrocy made flesh. Had Cassinda been comepletly honest all the time? Of course she hadn't, and he had been honest a majorityof the time. He concluded that women were to far beyond the mind's grasp, and he should just enjoy being outside again. He recognized the old metro. He'd poured over maps of Helsinki, memorizing interesting looking places. Not much, but it could be used tactically for housing something, a weapon maybe. He suddenly felt very much in the open right then, and he looked over his shoulders, not exactly casually. Finding no threats nearby, he relaxed, and decided to sit down on a bench nearby.

"That's deep, man." Freak Boy said, thinking about it. "Whoah... we are like tomatos. Look at me! Even I have my grey areas, despite the fact people try to categorize me as an insane and angry little man..."
The fact Bassarov was bi didn't really make Freak Boy think any differently of him. His uncle was the same way.

"You are going to operate a machine that watches people and reads their minds. I think that the machine is not a good thing for this world. I am loyal to Red Infinity, but I think that the machine gives them too much power over people."

Raine sighed and sat down at a bench. She looked around and saw a guy at a bench a few benches down. She turned her head and tapped her foot. Her hand moved in the direction towards her pocket where she had her cigarettes but she forced herself not to do it.
This wasnt the time to smoke.

Post by Valodya Bassarov on Jan 6, 2005 20:47:48 GMT -5
Bassarov thinks for a moment about his past, well, his life before he was political. "I suppose that the moral of all of this is not to divide the world into halves. All things are composed of waring opposites, gradual change leads to the overcoming of the battle of these forces, but change itself moves in spirals rather than circles. I was once at war with myself wondering what I was, and then through gradual change I figured things out and became what I am today. I think that is the basics of dialectics, my friend." Bassarov never fully understood the theory of dialectics. In fact, that was his weak point in his understanding of Marx.
"So we have talked about tomatos, sexuality, and now dialectics. I think this conversation was interesting. But I have a headache. Let's have cake and talk about something simple."
Bassarov eats some cake.
"The weather has been nice lately..."

"Watches people..." Iris said in a low voice. "But if I were to defy Red Infinity then I would be defeating the purpose that I was created for, correct?" Lifting her head, Iris had tears in her eyes. "I don't know what to do."

Freak Boy takes another bite of his slice and nods.
"Yeah. Especially in Buenos Aires... it's summer for about 12 months and then winter starts." Freak Boy said jokingly. This was a reference to an old Russian joke that the winter lasts 12 months and then summer starts.

Bassarov laughs. "I would love to go to Argentina. By ex girlfriend (Kaieka) and I were going to take a vacation there but we got into a fight..."

"You could stay with some friends of ours for a while. At least that would give you more time to really think about things until you decide whether or not to give your life to Red Infinity."

Movement to his right. Dante's head swivled in the direction of the tapping noise. It was only a girl. He relaxed his right hand, which had been reaching for his gun. He forced his hand back down into his pocket. He had reason to be jumpy. He was very much out of place, wearing so much leather. He no longer had black hair. A problem with eating things, you sometimes took more than just nutrition, you sometimes took parts. One of his eyes was gray because he had eaten Yuber's stelettos that one time. The other being the color of the sky in the morning, a gray toned sky blue. He closed his eyes and leaned back, consentrating on just breathing. In and out, inhale, exhale. He didn't breath hard, in fact he was almost silent in every movement he had been making, even though his clothing wasn't made for sneaking. He decided to ignore the girl who had moved. Why was she so twitchy? And why did she keep, unintentionally it seemed, reaching for her pocket? She gave the signs of either a hunted animal, or an addict of some sort.

"Well, if you ever have some free time, you're welcome to visit me... my shack isn't very big, but I find it kind of... cozy." he said, pulling out a picture of the outside of it.
There's no other way to describe it than it looks like nuts.
"I'm sure that with some work I could make it look like a piece of crap." he said, half joking.

I gather my notes and grab a pack of cigarettes and walk to Mischa's apartment. I usually try not to be smoking when I reach the door, but this time I am not successful. "Hi. Well I just got back from the Ministry of Education... And as I figured it's a sham."

Freak Boy looked at Zero and smiled. Bassarov failed to recognize him at first, but apparently Freak Boy forgot this and stood up to greet Zero.
"Zero! So good to see you! How have you been?" he asked her with a smile.

Raine averts one of her eyes to the man but she keeps her head the way it was because she didnt want him getting suspicious of her.To add to the tapping she tapped her fingers on her knee.It helped her calm herself down a bit.
