that is why i chose not to explain my religion here or give why i became a wiccan. I knew it would go from the first page to the last page.
when you have people who believe so strongly in something they will often feel like they were personally being attacked when you dispute their religion because it is part of what defines them as a person.
I say that if we continue with this thread lets do as rayven asks...
Just state what religion and what it is about. All she wished to do was learn about other peoples beliefs not have each othe go at the throats because they feel another misrepresented it. We all have different beliefs so why dispute each other? Even if someone said they believed in the christian god but santa clause was his son who are we to say 'you are wrong'?
So please stop the fighting and just post what religion you are and your beliefs...if i see anyone going after another for what they believe in or say they are wrong or go off on someone else i will seriously go to Bass to close the thread. WHy must we fight when we could be open minded and learn a little bit about our fellow players...

Okay. So let's reopen with the main question of this thread once more.

That is in inherantly difficult question for me.
I'm between religions at the moment.
Think of me as a Luthern Warlock.
As to what it involves... not much. My beliefs do not require any action on may part. It's mostly just trying to be a nice person.

Ok now that we have gotten the unpleasentries out of the way...
I am a pagan...a wiccan...a witch. I do not mind being called a witch so go right ahead.
It entails nature and dieties and principles of moral. Basically I follow rules (the wiccan rede) and try to be a good person. I do not hex people nor do i cast love spells(which are actually caging spells). My goddess is the Morrigan, Morrigu,...(it seems to have a bout 6 different spellings but heres some info on her...if you wish to know more PM me...)
Morrigan, also known as Morrigu, is the Celtic goddess of war and destruction. She is typically depicted as being armoured and armed: wherever war occurs, there is Morrigan. She is reputed to have hovered over the battlefield in the form either of a crow or a raven. Her name is pronounced as More Ree-an.
She is first mentioned in the Mythological Cycle (see Irish mythology) of Celtic tales, where she is revered as one of the Tuatha de Danann, a race of shape-shifting magicians whom the Celts believed inhabited Ireland before them.
Though the first part of her name appears consonant with the Old English maere, part of which still persists within the modern English word "nightmare", it is more likely to be the Old, Middle and Modern Irish word mór, meaning "great"; the second part is rigan meaning "queen" (great queen).
Morrigan has three aspects: Macha, Nemain and Badb.
In Goedelic mythology, Macha was one of the three aspects of the Morrigan. She fed on the heads of her enemies. With Anann and Badb, she formed a triumvirate of war goddesses; specifically, Macha was often said to have cured the wounded.
In Irish mythology Nemain (alternative spelling Nemhain) was a goddess of war, possibly another aspect of Morrigan. Her name means 'panic', and causing it among warriors was her specialty; it is said that in the war between Ulster and Connacht lots of warriors died because of this. The god Neit was her husband.
In Celtic mythology, Badb (raven) or in modern spelling Badhbh was a goddess of war who took the form of ravens (or carrion crows), thus known as Badb Catha (battle raven). She often caused confusion among soldiers to move the tide of battle to her favored side. Battlefields were called the land of Badb, and were often said to include Badb taking part as a raven or as a wolf. Badb is associated with the beansidhe, and is said to have been crucial in the battle against the Fomorians.
