I know this site, it was the first Anita Blake site I found after I started reading the books.
I have a friend who's making a d20 Modern Campain with rule variations to match Anita Blake. It's gonna be great.

Ok i feel like a newbie for that...sorry you had already seen it...but i still love it...
And about your friend...thats sounds interesting...i had thought to do an rpg but was afraid not too many would join...most around here might not be interested in it because no super powers...just basic ones

There's something to be said for the charm of basics. I posted in the main thread by the way.

Sorry about that...i got a phone call and had to go away for a bit...
Yes i wanted to do something where just basic powers were used and no creating new ones so often...even though i like getting cool powers i wanted to make an rpg where people could not make up cheat powers...i swear sometimes in fights i feel like i am 6 or so playing with my friends...
Well i shot you...nu uh i got a shield...well my bullets go through sheilds...not my shield its special...well my bullets went around the shield...well i moved out of the way to quickly for your bullets to get me...
I feel like the fights are reduced to that sometimes

I agree. I love fighting in RP but this is not the place for it. Still, I do like the normal playing. The fights are bad but people at least do the normal playing well enough.

Yeah i agree. At first i thought i might mess up...i was so self concious about my rping...i though that i was gonna mess the storyline up or something. Now i have found a balance for character and storyline. I also try to show some message with my characters physical and emotional battles...sometimes i don't do so hot...but i try...i figure maybe someone might learn something

Those who care to can find alot of leasons in my characters. Thing is that I think alot of the people here don't really care about messages. Still, all the better for those of us who do.

Well the way i look at it...most of the rpers are too young to really understand hidden messages or lessons in the way we wish to show them.
I know...you notice a lot of messages if you only care to look....i like it when i learn something anything from a post or conversation on the rpg...like i have learned so much about socialism and anarchism...enough even to play one without ppl even knowing i wasn't one...but i have slacked with my anarchist character...

oh i researched him a lot...i research all of my charis but Chaos...he was my special thing...his powers were sweet like maximum overdrive meets carrie...i loved it...hes still like that but he doesn't get to blow up things like he used to...
And also if you ever decide to make up a character for the anarchists...i could give you the info i used when i did my research...its very enlightening
