Bloodthirsty Blade: This massive No-Dachi is easily wielded in one of Kaonashi's clawed hands. Perhaps six feet tall, Kaonashi hefts it with ease. The Bloodthirsty Blade is vampiric, in that it drains blood upon inflicting wounds and stores it within itself. Kaonashi can call upon the blood to either rejuvinate himself or empower his spells.

Oni's Skull: This great shield is carved from the skulls of the Oni that Kaonashi has defeated. Each skull has two eye sockets that blaze with unholy radiance, and their mouths scream foul curses and moan in pain. The Oni's Skull retains the souls of the Oni that "donated" their skulls to the project, and has incredible defensive potential. About seven feet all and four feet wide, it can block just about any attack that comes it's way.

Mask of Humanity: Kaonashi always wears a mask over his face. The mask allows room for his tusks, but otherwise resembles the face of a human. Depending on Kaonashi's mood, the mask can take a feature that reflects either greed, envy, sloth, gluttony, wrath, pride, or lust. Whatever face it takes begins to influence those around him. Those who have those feelings mounting inside of them feel them rise at an even greater rate, and those who have those feelings dormant within them feel them rise to the surface. (This is a minor mental effect that most characters are immune to, its really for use against "lesser mortals")

Maho-Tsukai: All of Kaonashi's powers require blood in order to work. The amount of blood used determines the potency of the spell. The blood doesn't necesarily have to be Kaonashi's, any blood will suffice. Drawing blood is so natural to the casting of the spell, it takes almost no time at all.

Blood Portal: Kaonashi creates a portal that begins and ends wherever he specifies and allows instantaneous travel. The amount of blood required is contingent upon the distance the portal spans.

Appearance:

Kaonashi is a massive Oni, standing about eleven feet tall with two massive horns jutting from his head and two huge tusks protruding from his mouth. His flesh is a dark gray, scaly, tough, and difficult to penetrate. Kaonashi constantly wears his mask, none have ever seen his true face. Kaonashi wears a heavy black cloak, which he wraps around his massive body.

Personality: Kaonashi is the prime example of why it is bad for Oni to enter the mortal realm. Ruthless, selfish, and arrogant, Kaonashi embodies just about everything wrong with the world. Kaonashi believes that it is his duty to spread the art of Blood Magic across the world, corrupting the hearts of mortals for his own pleasure.

Story: Kaonashi is a powerful Oni who slew many of his fellows in Jigoku. Treacherous and cunning, he rose quickly amongst the ranks of the Oni, and is a force to be feared. Kaonashi discovered the art of Blood Magic in his 3,000th year of life, and has used it to find a way out of Jigoku and into the mortal realm.

40 Posts: Oni's Regeneration

Kaonashi no Oni is constantly regenerating himself, restoring blood he's used for his maho and healing his wounds. He heals at a much faster rate than normal. Wounds inflicted by jade or crystal weapons are much harder to regenerate and take far longer to heal.

Not really. "Healing" can have different meanings, not necessarily the "positve energy that hurts undead/demons/whatever". By regenerating, I simply mean that his body restores itself at a quicker rate than normal, and that he can reattach or regrow severed limbs, given time. Kinda like the D&D troll, just replace "Fire and Acid" with "Crystal and Jade".

Oh yes, and before I get all kinds of "omg u say u dont like powergamining but u get a power liek taht u hipocryte!!!!!!111" I'm going to make sure that this one is clear.

Kaonashi no Oni heals at a quicker rate than normal. In a battle sense, this means that his wounds heal at around a 3 posts to 1 wound ratio, 5-1 if the wounds are heavy, and 7-1 if they are grave. Lost limbs will regenerate after about 10 posts. The major advantage this gives me, however, is that my blood restocks rather fast, so I can pretty much constantly use my powers, so long as I keep them at a moderate level. Should I choose to enhance my powers through use of more blood, it usually regenerates at about a 2-1 ratio, but can go as high as 4-1 depending on the power that I use. anything that would call for a 5-1 regeneration would probably kill me.
