Master of Disguises: Li can take on the appearance and persona of anyone he wants. He masks his voice to fit any personality he disguises himself as. He has perfect tone and accent for the language with any persona. It doesn't matter what age, height, weight, ethnicity, language; he completely becomes a personality without any seam.

Trustworthy: Li is 90-99% successful at beguiling, coaxing, charming, etc people into trusting him. Anyone he interacts with eventually will trust him no matter what, and soon spill whatever information he wants.

Agent: With his earpiece link he has total range of frequency over the entire world. Tapped into all information, he can listen to any electronic transmission: cell phones, televisions, AM/FM radios, comm-link systems, phone lines, intercom connections, etc. As long as it is free encryption, Li's got connection.

Deception: Li is a born con artist. He'll make you believe what he wants you to believe. It can be anything. He could make you believe he loves you; he hates you; he is your ally; your enemy; he can make someone else hate you and you hate them; he can bring two lovers together; he can separate them; he can con you into believing that RI is falling or thriving. Li can con mostly anyone into believing whatever he wants.

Psychical Defence: He can shield himself mentally from psychic attacks, probes, searches, melds, etc.

Alternate Identities: Li can truly live out an alternate life, then totally obscure any evidence of that life ever existing and completely wash himself of it. He can do this with several aliases at a time.

Weakness:
1: He can't be in two places at one. While he does have separate aliases, if Silent Creek is taken into custody by the Ministry of Terror, Kirov can't go pardon and free him. This could be his most powerful weakness. He must be very careful.
2: His dedication to his work. He lets nothing get in his way of completing his mission.

Appearance: 5'10", 120 lb, black short hair, dark brown eyes, medium complexion, clean-shaven. Varied attire: kung fu gi, business suit, casual attire, informal, etc. Shades sometimes.



Personality: Like any other human; sensitive to emotions, anger, sadness, fear, humor, joy, etc. He has an incredibly strong sense of purpose and devotion to his occupation.

Story:
Xiaolong Li was born to Ngai and Giyung Li in Shanghai. He attended Peikun Elementary School, then Shanghai High School (there are no middles or jr. highs). He accelerated in his grades, and was enrolled in the University of Beijing and graduated magna cum laude. Destined by communist law to succeed his father's career, he became an agent of the Red Infinity Ministry of Information. He survived his agent training, excelling in all sections above the other operative candidates. Li was heavily trained in the operations of his position. Now he's a vital aspect to the MoI, bravely and loyally carrying out his duty.

Xiaolong Li is an agent for RIMoI. He is capable of assuming several other identities at a time. These aliases have complete documented histories, parents, educations, careers, etc. Only Top Secret cleared RI officials know that he lives out other lives.
He's only let Dr. Murdock know about his ninja identity, which is not documented...ever.
His parents died of simply time.

Story: Born into Red Infinity, as it is a communist state, Kirov was thrown into the cycle believing everything he was taught was right. Because his father worked for the RI Ministry of War, so did he eventually. He was trained in the operations of his position. Because of his prestigious leadership and command he was promoted all the way up to colonel. Red Infinity told him he'd be more useful in the Ministry of Defense so he was transferred. Now he's a vital officer in the MoD, carrying out his duty. He still retains his colonel rank and position.
His father is passed away by age, and his mother had pancreatic cancer. She was cured and works in a foliage nursery.

Story: Born into Red Infinity, as it is a communist state, Dillon was thrown into the cycle believing everything he was taught was right. Because his father worked as an arms dealership owner, so did he eventually. He was trained in the operations of his job. Now he's the owner of the family weapons business, testing and selling munitions products.
Both his mother and father are passed away by age.
Not entirely sure about the current government, he is a possibly underground insurgent contactable by various revolutionary organizations.

Appearance: 5'8", 130 lb, long black hair, brown eyes, dark "red" complexion, clean-shaven. Casual attire

Personality: Creek is an active passionate revolutionist. He's very faithful to the Great Spirit and is often praising the Spirit. Creek tries his best to be a messenger of the Great Spirit.

Story: Silent Creek was given, by the Great Spirit, to Stands On His Hill and Long Rain. His father, Stands On His Hill, was an unsung activist in the Eternal Light. His mother, Long Rain, was also an Eternal Light activist. Creek's parents taught him everything they knew until their deaths. He grew up knowing that there was something wrong with the world, about Red Infinity. He knew he had to do something. So, he began writing against RI. Now he combats RI with the written word, alongside Eternal Light and others against the reign of Red Infinity.

I'm sorry, but I am going to have to reject this character. Firstly, mysterious pasts are forbidden. Secondly, your power of deception is essentially a chameleon power, which Void does not allow.

Powers which allow you to use extra powers. You claim that Silent Creek has an entirely different set of powers under Xiaolong Li's deception power. That isn't allowed.

Well, I'll moderate the powers here, Zinn can work on the story.

If you want psychic abilities, you have to take them one at a time. You cannot have a power that encompasses all psychic forms, such as telepathy, telekinesis, clairsentience, whatever. You need to take them as individuals.

No power is 100% effective because auto-hitting is illegal. You can have powers with high efficacy, but they can always be dodged or resisted.

As far as the deception power, looking at it I don't really see anything wrong with it.

I actually don't see too great a problem with the deception power, except for the fact that it can't be absolute since it targets others. I may be missing something, so if Zinn can point out what rule it's violating then I can give suggestions for it.

Edit: Ah I see. Yes, that isn't permitted. A power cannot be used to create more powers.

Here's something I am willing to do if Zinn will agree with me. I know I generally dislike putting too much information in the bio so as to allow other players to metagame with it. If you PM the real and complete story to one of the mods so we can post it in the mod forum, I am willing to accept that if Zinn is.

Li is an incredibly smart man! Understand that Creek's powers aren't real. I really hate the word "powers". What Li has are more like talents. In order to use Creek's "powers," Li needs to cram! He researches the weather patterns extensively. He's well learned on the heritages and cultures of the Native American Indians. He dances as a placebo. The patient thinks he or she's being healed cause Creek's telling them so. Most believe that without any deceptive influence. You are also assuming that he's going to be trying to change the weather and strengthen somebody through dance every ten minutes. Not the case. He's got to be smart in how, where, when, why he uses his talents, and who he uses his talents on.

About the mysterious history that you see, there is none. Li was born and raised communist. He does what his father did. Isn't that communist law? Where's the mystery?

The way your character is written is way to confusing. Also, you have a lot of 'undisclosed's, and '?'. That is a problem. You have way too many powers.

All right, since you've been given the go ahead to play this character, this is what want besides the initial changes I asked for.

You may only have six powers. Period. That means for all of your "identities" you must divide the powers up amongst them in whatever way you see fit. As you gain more powers, you can slowly fill them in, but at the moment, choose six that will be active and stick with them. Any identity can concievably use any and all of your powers, should you desire.

I modified Li's history. There is no secret past.

I am content with Void's power suggestion...proposal...request...thing, whatever it was. As far as adding a power every so many posts, only a single power will be added to either Li, the ninja, Kirov, or Silent Creek. I will choose one alias to whom the power will be applied. Make sense?

I've also made it initial for Dillon's "no powers, no weaknesses" rule, that he can't have powers added to him. Fair enough?
