It all depends on what scale we're talking about.
Compared to other mainstream bands at the time (Pearl Jam, Alice in Chains, etc.), Nirvana was a god among ants.

And who said anything about Velvet Revolver...This band plays classic rock as it's meant to be that way, before velvet there was a Slash's Sneak Pit, but that is not the problem now Velvet Revolver and Guns'n'Roses are two diffrend bands playing difrent music Slash left Guns'n'Roses in December of 1996, the same did Duff in August of 1997 (Axl lied telling that they left in middle of 1995), sonner the band left Izzy and he was repleaced by Gilbert (You can hear him in playing in the Spagetti Incident wich was in my opinion worse album in their carer). That is the official day that classic Guns'n'Roses died...Nirwana was the best, Perl Jam does not sucks, and Ozzy rules...

muadib, check out The Disposible Heroes of Hiphoprisy. They're very good. I recommend their song "Television, The Drug of the Nation."
Lil Pocketknife and The DJ's of Mass Destruction are also quite good.

Ahhhhh music.... by far my favorite side quest! Jokes aside, I think everyone here should listen to Rage Against the Machine. Such good music, and some of it's political, too, like the song Wake Up and the song Renegades of Funk. Rage is such a great band. Audioslave is good too, but not quite as political as Rage.

Rage Against the Machine is the most hypocritical band ever.
Audioslave, in my opinion, is a combination of RAtM's annoying repetative music and Chris Cornell's annoying voice. I am not a fan.

Surma, are you joking? Aren't DBZ fans supposed to be heavy metal fans, too? I like Metallica Master of Puppets. Good CD and song. Then again, I like all types of music (that don't suck). Here's a good song, "Battle Without Honor or Humanity." It's from Kill Bill.

I do not like AC/DC. It is fun to go up to jock jerks with AC/DC shirts and inform them that AC/DC is also a slang term for bisexual though.
My favourite songs right now are "Pornography" by :wumpscut:, "Jet Black" by Jawbreaker, "Milk Man" by Deerhoof, and "Epic Problem" by Fugazi.
