Yeah, but I kinda like the way the powers are working so far. I just think that once you reach a certain point (like when you get 50 powers or so) you shouldn't be able to get anymore. I like being able to make your own powers, becuz I know that as a newbie, I'm going to have to have some nice powers to stay alive. I think that the modding of the powers shouldn't be done in power creating. I think we should be able to have whatever powers we want (besides omnipotence). I think that the modding should be in how we use them. Like, it's ok to have a healing spell, but if you use it every single time you get hit, it's not fair. So we should have the mods moderate how often we use them. Cuz making it so that people can't have certain powers is just not fun.

Oh now that isn't fun, if we have 50 powers and we can't get anymore, there's no use for the posts than. I disagree with the limit of powers, but I agree with creating our own powers. Let's keep it to that.

Ehhh, that sounds fair. I just wish I had joined earlier.

I think we should have a ban on unspecific power dampening fields. I think they're cheap.

The unspecific power nullification field affects everybody though. Thus it comes down to a battle of roleplaying skill between the two parties involved, not just the endless blasting of powers back and forth while teleporting out of the way of everything.

Seriously though, I think that the only powers that should be banned are powers that make a person impossible to defeat, meaning beyond any doubt. Like, say someone has a power that makes it so when they receive damage, they convert the damage into power and grow stronger (not naming names). That is illegal, cuz your character would be unstoppable. But there are powers, such as teleportation, that when misused could be God-like powers. Say someone were to teleport in, hit someone, teleport away so they can't hit back, teleport in again, hit, and keep doing this over and over. That would be cheating. But we all use teleportation correctly, so we don't have to worry about it. Therefore, the power regulation shouldn't be so much on the actual powers as long as the powers are not unlimited and ultimate. The power regulation should be in the way we use them in fights. I've seen some mods doing their job and I'm glad to see that. I think everything is going fine and we should keep it the way it is. Furthermore, I think Void and Brady have the right idea, so listen to them! Cracking down on powerplayers and auto-hitters is necessary!

Kolov, Zero and I are keeping an eye on the joining forms and will be making modifications as needed. If you feel somebody has a power that should not be allowed, feel free to PM one of us with a link to the joining form and we will make the modifications necessary. We are also keeping in contact with each other, so more often than not the power modification will be an agreed upon action by both of us, though we do trust each other's judgement enough to allow each other to act independently of one another.
There should soon be two new forums, one which will allow people to report possible powerplay and another for the mods to discuss it.
Remember, we're not here to pick on somebody, we're just trying to put an end to all the powerplay. I realize that many of you have different ideas on what is and is not powerplay, but all of your input is very much appreciated.

Here's my suggestion. The better the posts, the greater the powers. Here is an example. Imagine my posts was 700, I can use a power called power blast. This sends great damage to an enemy.

I don't think we'll be doing that. There must be a cap on the power's might, so the strength of a character is instead going to be measured by the variety of attacks.

Perhaps there should be a set of rules that limits the way teleportation can be used. For example, some charis (not naming any names) claim to be able to teleport entire buildings with them. That's just stupid. There should be a weight limit regarding how much people can carry with them, and how often they can teleport.

I do favor restrictions on teleportation, but that will have to be taken up with Bassarov.

Here is a suggestion I have implimented on my own site as far as teleportation goes. Two main restrictions.
1: You can only teleport your character and one object per hand no bigger than twice the person's size. Two people for example.
2: Teleportation can only be done after effectivly 'linking' to the place you are teleporting to. This means that you have to think about it (for at least 5 seconds) before you actually teleport.
Especially the second rule I enforce greatly for reasons mentioned by Void, specifically, people teleporting in and hitting then teleporting out immediatly.

It's a good system, and it just may be implimented.
