"Sure, sounds good,I'll lead the way!!"
I grab Fei by the arm and force him out the door. I then skip down the street pulling him along with me. We go to the Ice Cream parlour and take a seat on these neato retro chairs.
I order a mint cone for me, and orange scorbet for Fei.
"So like who knows, maybe Red Infinity made those big machine thingys since like...the American Green Party found one too, and they were crushed by Red Infinity. That is sorta why I am here."
I happily lick my cone, more interested in eating than thinking about all the party members that Red Infinity killed back there.

I smile as Ashen walks in, before I am grabbed by Makwa and forcefully taken to the icecream parlor. I eat my icecream slowly, savoring the taste.
"I heard that the FRA was employing some, and that others have shown up at odd times every once in awhile."

Ash walks behind the girl and Fei, laughing at the sight of it all.
"Well, Fei, she's got you pretty much tied down, eh?"
When they arrive, she orders for her and Fei and Ash pays for it. He also gets a two scoop cone of fudge and mint chocolate for himself. He hears Fei talking about the FRA and more Gears and pats him on the shoulder.
"Come on Fei! Lighten up! We're young and full of vigor! We should talk about something more cheerful. So, Fei, did you ever have a girlfriend? I haven't left the library in so long, I almost forget women, or anyone else of that matter, existed."

"Maybe it was a gift from mother earth, since we found it in the dirt burried pretty deep. Maybe she gave it to us so we could fight Red Infinity and protect our mother." I suggest. I entertain such thoughts, since long ago such miracles happened all the time.
Then I switch conversations suddenly.
"Yeah Fei, I bet you were pretty popular in your village you hottie!"
I wink.

"Yes, Fei! I'll bet you were the village studmuffin, huh?"
He knuges him with his elbow.
"Huh? Eh? How about it? Were ya?"

I blush slightly.
"I've never really dated anyone. There was only one girl around my age in the village, and she was supposed to marry my friend until..." I trail off and shake my head.
"There's a girl I've had in my mind for years now. For some reason I can see her face, quite clearly, but I don't know why. I've painted her several times, here."
I take out a folded piece of paper and show it to them. It depicts a red-headed, pretty young woman around Fei's age. She is wearing a conservative white dress, and she is smiling enigmatically.
"For some reason I feel as if I've known her for a long time, and I feel like I am searching for her."

"Oh. That's nice." I say sort of crestfallen. But then I perk up again.
"I dated Ralph Nader's great great great great grandson. But he has been missing since Red Infinity attacked the Green Party back in Bismark, North Dakota."

Ashen chugs his beer.
"Indeed he did. And he also appeared on the Daily Show with the Great Jon Steward once. It's very interesting what you'll find in books. Another beer!"
Ashen grabs the next bottle and takes long drinks from it. He looked at the picture Fei showed them.
"Wow, she's hot! You can really pick'em Fei, you lucky b'astard! But mark my words, I'll find a woman some day. Maybe if I left the library once in awhile..."
He finishs the beer and has another.

"Nader ran with my great great great grandma, Winona Laduke, a well known native American environmental activist."
I turn to Ashen.
"So...do you work for Red Infinity? Lady Violet came to talk to you. That was cool, since she is like the most powerful political woman ever...except for who she represents. Do you like know her? Could I talk to her? Since I would like to give her a piece of my mind on red Infinity's environmental policies!"

I laugh. "Slow down, Ashen. That much can't be good for you.
I turn to Makwa. "Sorry, didn't mean to offend you. I've only read a few books on the subject, and all of them are horribly biased."
I look at the picture again before folding it up and putting it back in my pocket.
"It's strange. I wonder who the girl is. My sister maybe? Or my mother even. I really don't know. I must have seen her somewhere."
